i can bring my can into wisconsin no problem. but if i want to bring a rifle with a 8.5" barrel then i need a permission slip.
Now if i put that same 8.5" uppper onto a lower with some ugly ass sig brace then i can bring it where ever i want.

Can we outlaw the ATF and NFA?

Yes, that is the travel doc. I needed one to bring my SBR to rockcastle in 13. The internet said "2 weeks", but the examiner said "lol 2 months". Then he expedited it, so it took more like 2 days.

Meh. I don't like chasing after things I shoot, and I not sniper now so I don't neck shoot them. Slightly improved .30 Carbine ballistics seem sub-optimal to me for those purposes, and the experiences of some of my coworkers with the round haven't increased my confidence.
