The video starts off with a fallacy -- that the people who for years have been advocating for gun control have now turned around and are touting the constitution as protecting their right to be armed, in order to resist right-wing rule. These are not the same people. The hard-core, potentially violent, left has never been for gun control. Guns have always been part of their ideology, starting with Karl Marx himself. The gun controllers have been namby-pamby soccer moms, who have nothing to do with the hard-core left. They're just soft-headed idealists.

Finally watched the video. Holy heck she's a kook-burger when it comes to political commentary. This is like parroting every talk radio talking point in a multi-colored flood of herpa derp. I watched her previous videos about emergency medicine and that stuff seems good.
She's definitely right though about lefty hypocrisy when it come to the constitution. NOW with Trump in they care about separation of powers, executive orders, and obscure sections like the almighty "emoluments clause". But frankly if people are upset about Trump (in many cases legitimately) AND it makes them actually care about the constitution and institutions we have including the 2A, well maybe that's not a bad thing. |
