1:1. Every time I build a new upper, it ends up turning into a new rifle.

And I will not have it any other way. If I'm building/buying one half then I'm building/buying the other half.

The one time I had an extra lower I sold it because I knew I wouldn't have the funds anytime soon for an upper.

Even with the aide of the computer I am too tired to try the math, which to be accurate would require me counting them. I know I have at least 2 dozen complete ARs and maybe 1 extra complete upper half, maybe 1 more upper receiver without a barrel.

I have one more lower than upper, and no matter what I do it stays that way.

It started with one upper and two lowers, now its 5 uppers and 6 lowers.

I'll probably buy a decent 16" carbine upper and hit it with some paint just so it won't be moved around again.

For some reason I traded a Shotgun barrel that I didn't use or need for a 300 blackout barrel and gas tube (on the EE). No intention of building or ever having 300 blackout, but I got a cheap stripped upper on Classic and had an old free float handguard. Buddy gave me a 300 flash hider and washer, so I now have an upper ready to build once I pick up a gas block. Thing is I have a lower parts kit and buffer tube kit in a drawer, so I'm thinking of going on and getting it a lower to go with it.

I've got one spare/new lower. Just a matter of time before I take care of that. Just gotta decide what to build next.

It's amazing how fast they go (lowers). I had four bare lowers. One weekend I used two, two weeks later I used another one.

AR-15: 10-12 uppers, 8 or 9 lowers.
AR-10 (DPMS pattern): 1 lower, 3 uppers

I used to have a ton of lowers, but have decided to dump all the no namers. My lowers are all Colt now with the exception of one Rock River which I only kept because it's color matched to it's upper and a BCM because it's BCM.
