Can someone please explain the difference between stippling and tactical stippling.
sorry I can not
I'm pretty sure the difference is:

Stippling is free for anyone with a dremmel and a dream.

Whereas Tactical Stippling adds $500 to the pricetag because it's done by a guy with teardrop tattoos using a Tactical Dremmel(tm) who has a dream too. But his dream is about being John Wick's personal armorer, so his weapons can kill everyone all the time...but now he also dreams about killing whomever purchases this pistol, because they aren't John Wick.

I don't understand how you take a $300 pistol, add $600 worth of work and parts, and end up with a $1750 price tag.

Big deal?  There are still dipshits that pay anywhere from $500-$4,000. for a POS 1911.
Who gives a rat's ass if somebody is paying 3-4 times retail for a Shield?

No worse than $1,300 Glock 17s you see every day.  "But it has Zev" built all over it!  Ok.

I guess I was away from the "gun world" for a while and then I noticed all of these "polymer pimpers" had shown up.

A local gunstore I've done a few transfers through always has some of these pimped Glocks in stock for 2-3k.  I wonder who the fuck buys garbage like that?

It isn't going to work any better (in fact I'd wager on the opposite) than the stock gun.

I understand why people are trying it though--they probably see all the 3k dollar semi custom 1911s that sell and want to fill that niche in the Glock world.  I was selling a rifle in the EE a few months back and some guy tried to offer me one of those in trade......it was hard to just say no thanks.  He even pressed like "wow, no interest in this Glock?" like he thought it was "the shit" instead of "a piece of shit".

This.

Not some wannabe camo job with slide cuts revealing a BLAZE ORANGE barrel. Totally defeats the point of camo.

Drop that into a kydex holster and see how long the finish lasts.

Don't talk shit about Wetwerx.  Their presence in the tactical firearms innovation space is unrivaled, consisting of dozens of months' worth of experience, just to name one facet of their acumen.  Their weapons are in use at the highest levels of the faceshooter space, including the insurance salesman of the brother of the guy who shot Bin Laden.

ETA: the barrel isn't blaze orange, bruh.  It's TiN coated, which Wetwerx was doing long before those cringing, knockoff-hawking mendicants over at Infinity copied this great idea for their so-called AET  barrel, 15 years ago, even though they give reasons that sound convincing to the uninformed non-Recoil-magazine reader.

LOL, not even $600 worth of parts.  Can buy the trigger kit for $100.  But it's the work, yo.

Yeah, sending the slides out to a real machine shop isn't cheap.

Nutnfancy and a dremel could get this done for under $1,000--including gun and parts. He even does Duracoat!
