But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow I doubt he had any political philosophy coherent enough to be labeled anything but a generic leftist. His personal assistant from the time right before he was killed says he had realized that a lot of what he supported when he was younger was wrong and that he had moved considerably to the right in his final years. Whether that is true or not we'll probably never know. |
