So like an idiot I visited a new gun store today...you know, just to look.
I did not see anything cool and asked if they had any Sig Legions. They had 2 of them, one of which was a SAO.

I bought the hell out of that sucker...the trigger is excellent. I just greased it up and put it away since it is too late to go to the range.
I can't wait to try it. No, I did not need it...but once I handled it that was all she wrote. Just over 1300 bucks out the door. I guess the pile
of mec-gar 18's I got for my MK25 justify it.

Oh, who am I trying to kid...

I am sure lots of you have done the same thing.

But I bet it will run like a raped ape and be accurate too...I am going shoot the hell out of it and I guess that is what really matters!

Yes...a bit high. But he actually had it.I took a pic and it is just over 3 meg...fail.My phone also crashed my very old pc. I will add a pic later with one of my tablets as I forgot to write fuarock
on a piece of paper anyway.

I should say very few stores here have higher end offerings.Glocks and SW out the wazoo but few p226 offerings so I jumped. Yep, I paid a small premium but it was better than
ordering sight unseen. Until I tried the trigger I was only looking...like I said I am tarded.

No way...I will use my Tab2s much later tonight. I will turn the res down and post pics like a lunatic.

I have to say I really like the trigger shape better than the MK25 too. I am actually delighted to have it. I don't know how many
of these Sig is going to make and so I am glad I got it.

I burned my last pistol purchase permit with this and the 3 I bought took over a month to get so...I should be safe for now.

 Except for long guns.....

I really don't need anymore of them...

The quality on my MK25 is very good...and this legion is better. Lock up is ridiculously tight and the finish is flawless.
Once I get some rounds downrange I will report back. I can say this now however...fit and finish is better than
anything else I have handled locally...by a substantial amount.

The only thing I wish it had is a chrome lined barrel. Threaded chromed barrels are now in stock at Sig.

How's the corrosion resistance?

I cleaned the barrel on my Mk. 25 in the sonic cleaner, which flash rusted in 30 minutes or less.

Only very light surface rust.  Was able to clean it all up, lesson learned.  Not all are chrome lined.  Expected more corrosion resistance.  My Sig 220 10mm seems much better, but the barrel appears to be melonited.

Excellent so far but I run my guns wet and aside from getting the rails depleted using the tw25 (I have since switched to mobile 1 synthetic grease) my guns are under a layer of oil all the time.
I like the lucas extreme performance synthetic...it is slippery and stays put. It also is great on the sear and helps the trigger weight a bit.

All of my old guns are blued so I am a fanatic for wiping them with a oily wipe after handling. Rust sucks.

Pics soon via vga quality setting on samsung tab2s. Waiting for kids and evil spouse to go to bed.

I got an email reply from sig re registration and it appears a case will be sent soon with a legion coin. I note with some disappointment they never acknowledged
my MK25 registration via email. Apparently buying a legion gets you the red carpet treatment.

The trigger is sex BTW. Much nicer than the already very good MK25.

Water & Simple Green.  Works well and is cheap.  I already cleaned a bunch of others with it, no problems.  I just run a few 5 minute cycles and then dry and oil right afterwards.

Not even AR bolts & bolt carriers flash rusted like it.

It feels better in the hand than it looks. Superior trigger pull, grippy g10 grips, crisp and positive safety. It feels wonderful.
When I stripped it to clean and lube it I discovered the solid guide rod...it makes the MK25 guide rod look like a toy. The
head of it is so thick it will never fail. It is heavy too. The checkering pretty much everywhere is very very nice as well.

It is a nice piece.
