The Freddie Gray cops won again in a lawsuit against Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby. Ms. Mosby put six police officers on trial without the evidence to back up the charges. At first, critics said she over-charged the officers, but, in the end, the judge found there was no evidence to back up the charges.

A federal judge in Maryland has allowed a “malicious prosecution” case against Ms. Mosby to go forward because she acted as an independent prosecutor in the Freddie Gray case, the Baltimore Sun reported.

Perhaps one of our esteemed members of the bar can weigh in on this question. Is the threshold for "malicious prosecution" very difficult to obtain and even more difficult to receive a ruling in favor of the defendants?

Fuck her. Good. I can tell you... even though I'm a cop in a different state... her decision (prosecution) impacted the decisions of the cops where I work... a lot more "smile and waves" than actual police work in the "ghetto" because none of us were about to be the next cops prosecuted for what happens everyday when we lock someone up... and our DA would have LOVED to be the next Mosby.

Hopefully a successful lawsuit against her and the loss of her legal license will pump the brakes on the politicians who use the backs of cops to get ahead but are willing to throw those same cops to the wolves when necessary to save or further their political careers

I remember thinking, after watching her little speech, things weren't going to work the way she thought they would. She makes Nifong look like an amateur when it comes malicious prosecution and ethics violations.

I guess she thought she would be untouchable as a black female. Financial ruin and disbarment are definitely just around the corner. I hope she does some serious time in jail and not the one day sentence Nifong got.
