Crazy low price on HST ammo.

35 cents per round.  Same price by box or case.

Low shipping cost.

124
124+p
147+p

IMO and many shooters believe, the finest self defense ammo on the market.

This LE 50 box is the same EXACT ammo sold in the 25 round ultra expensive plastic case.

This seller is GTG. I have bought from them before.

147+p is in stock.  147 is out.

I like the 124 for my LC9s and the 124+p for my XDM.

Got 5 boxes of 147+p. This is the first ammo I've bought in a long time,  thanks OP.

The 124 is highly rated for small single stack, ~3inch pistols.

The 124+p is nice for med size pistols.

Got plenty of 9mm HST, but I took advantage of the 77gr gold medal match.

Thanks for posting, more than one deal on this link.  Look around.

I would have bought a case of 147 at that price. 4 boxes of 124 works to add to the fort.

It's a pretty good deal.  My previous good deal was $210 shipped.  But they are out.  And you can only buy 200 rounds per case for free shipping.

In this case I bought 300 rounds for $290 shipped.

I only shoot it when I am doing barrel tests.  That and 69gr.  I did 69gr last time.  This will be used to compare some Palmetto CHF barrels in accuracy.  Including their new CHF nitride line.  Will be a month or more before I post it in AR discussion though.

Federal HST isn't that good. Federal HST2 is the stuff. There are only a few HST2's on that page best I can tell (they may be mislabeled).

Nevermind. It is Hyrashocks that are the old ones. All HST are the good stuff. Shit, it's probably all sold out now.

HST2 merely identifies the grains of the loading and not the quality.  HST2 is their 147 grain product.

You should look at real life data. Of which I have not for HST2. But HST has some very fine real life data that is plenty good enough for personal defense.

You could not go wrong at this price.

All 4 grain weights meet and mostly exceed FBI testing protocol.

You can't go wrong with any of the line.

Superior ammo.

124 is nice in the small pistols.  I bet 147+p would be a handful.

Depends on how big your hands are.

Much lighter than HST 230gr in my XDS.

But I find recoil fun and exhilarating!!

The 147 grain is in stock here for the same price, as well as the other grains. Shipping cost appears to be higher.

147 HST

BUT, shipping is significantly greater than Bonefrog from what I am seeing.

Thanks OP, my carry round in 9 and 45 so I grabbed a couple boxes of the 147+p.  $11 shipping for 3 boxes is good in my book, hell midway charges that for a detent spring.

I use it in my Shield (couldn't find regular 147 at the time) and get 976 fps with about a 5" group at 25 yards.  I suspect the ammo is more accurate than that and it's just me opening up the group.

Shipping cost appears to get better the more you order. You paid $11 for 3 boxes, but 20 boxes is only about $23.

Without heading over to the ammunition forum and starting a whole thread on the subject, is there any advantage to 124 HST over 147 HST in a single stack?

Thanks for posting OP!

Edited to clarify HST.

If by single stack you're referring to a smaller shorter barreled pistol, the 124 and 147 both perform equally well out of short barrels.

The new 150grn HST "Micro Pistol" (ballistically) performs WORSE than the other weights. It's only pro appears to be lower recoil, so a only a consideration in true micro pistols or for the recoil adverse.

Oops, yeah I forgot to clarify the shorter barrel - out of a Shield to be specific. Thanks for the info! I already have a good amount of 147, but may have to pick up some 124 on this sale.

Unless I am mistaken, this HST ammo does qualify for the rebate of $10 off $50.

Its Federal Premium and the rebate covers that brand.

One rebate per name and 2 per household.
