This story just keeps getting weirder... http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/intel-chair-devin-nunes-unsure-trump-associates-directly/story?id=46325928 The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Devin Nunes, R-Calif., does not know "for sure" whether President Donald Trump or members of his transition team were even on the phone calls or other communications now being cited as partial vindication for the president’s wiretapping claims against the Obama administration, according to a spokesperson.
"He said he'll have to get all the documents he requested from the [intelligence community] about this before he knows for sure," a spokesperson for Nunes said Thursday. Nunes was a member of the Trump transition team executive committee. At a press conference yesterday, Nunes announced he obtained "dozens of reports" showing the U.S. intelligence community -- through its "normal foreign surveillance" -- "incidentally collected information about U.S. citizens involved in the Trump transition." But Nunes never said Trump or any of the president's associates personally participated in the communications that were intercepted. Fox is reporting that the NSA has evidence that President Zero used foreign intelligence collection to spy on Trump and disseminate the information wide across the government in order to undermine Trump's presidency. The intelligence is said to leave no doubt the Obama administration, in its closing days, was using the cover of legitimate surveillance on foreign targets to spy on President-elect Trump, according to sources.
The key to that conclusion is the unmasking of selected U.S. persons whose names appeared in the intelligence, the sources said, adding that the paper trail leaves no other plausible purpose for the unmasking other than to damage the incoming Trump administration. |

So Nunes doesn't even know if these communications were with Trump associates or about Trump associates. If two foreign surveillance targets are talking about a U.S. person, is that information even incidental collection? Do minimization procedures even apply for a third party? And then he apologized to his committee today. What a shitshow. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Even more fun is that it appears that Nunes is not showing other intel committee members or the intelligence agencies what he already has - so if they fail to produce anything he already has, he can nail them. That seems to be part of why he went straight to Trump. And there are reportedly MULTIPLE sources for what he has, not just the one whistleblower Larry Klayman is representing. Jay Sekulow was on Hannity tonight and was saying that if they want answers they should convene a grand jury and subpoena obama himself. He also said that this is a constitutional crises that is on Comey and the obama administration. Hannity's guest, Sara Carter, who has been working on this story for weeks said that this goes all the way to the top of the former administration/white house. I think there is likely to be a grand jury if even half of what is being said turns out to be true.
Like all of you, I can't wait to see what the NSA is supposed to be giving to Nunes tomorrow. I hold hope that people will be going to prison. If they don't go to prison their lives will be ruined to the point that they will wish they were in prison because their bullshit will be on display for everyone to see how they violated the civil rights of President Trump, his family, Trump campaign officials, and the Trump transition team. May all of the filthy fucking commies who did this rot in hell. |

Purely hypothetical, but wouldn't it be just delicious if McCain and Graham are implicated as being complicit in the collection and dissemination of surveillance on Trump?
Of course, assuming there is a smoking gun and we get to a Grand Jury. |

Nunes knows he can't trust some of the members on his own committee and not allowing them this information would allow the whistle-blower and information to be guarded instead of known more widely. If the committee is truly investigating for fraud, why haven't they all clamored to the smoke that Nunes has found then? Answer is because there are so many people you can't trust, in that city on the hill and Nunes knows that people and evidence both disappear for no known reason. This shit is fixing to get real and the POTUS, his immediate staff and Atty General Sessions are fixing to light some people up with a magnifying glass. My hope is that the evidence can be gathered before the Obama minions suppress or destroy it and that the whistle blowers are guarded so they don't meet some untimely payoff or accident heading home from work. We're at the cusp of uncovering deceit and treasonous actions of an entire previous POTUS staff and the significance itself, is enough for the socialist's to pull all strings to suppress or eliminate. ETA - From Nunes first presser on these interesting findings, he has had this stoic look on his face. Almost akin to an " I just saw the truth behind Area 51 " look. He truly looked like he had seen a ghost or a nasty / fatal vehicle accident right in front of him. There is some heavy stuff fixing to be revealed to the light of day. |

This above from Lone Wolf is correct. Nunes, after getting the whistle-blower info had a choice. Take information to committee, which has Obama's syncofants / minions on it, or take information straight to press conference in hallway, to speaker and then Trump. Nunes knows he can't trust some of the members on his own committee and not allowing them this information would allow the whistle-blower and information to be guarded instead of known more widely. If the committee is truly investigating for fraud, why haven't they all clamored to the smoke that Nunes has found then?
