Reminiscing here...

Hard to beat a Coca-Cola in a glass bottle, so cold that when you pop the top, ice crystals form in the liquid.

1972 Coca Cola Commercial - "It''s the Real Thing"

Now,  I quit the sugar.

Diet Coke in the can, so cold that when you crack it open, ice crystals form.  Pretty close second.

Frosty Root Beer.
1960's when I was little, I could get a bottle of it AND 2 big pretzel rods for 10 cents.
Then got 2 cents back for the bottle deposit.
As I grew up watching Cowboys getting their beer in the bar, I figured that's what real beer tasted like.
WRONG!
At a friends b-day party there was an Iron City bottle on the table, a quick look around, I took a chug.
YUKKKKKKKKKK!

Vernors will always be my favorite, but over the past few years I've become a huge fan of Sidral Mundet. It's a delicious apple-flavored soda from Mexico. I get it every time I go to the taco trucks here in town.

I know. A friend of mine grew up close to the plant, and his family used to bring him a bunch of it when they came to visit.  He got me hooked on the stuff a couple years before they stopped making it.
