It's all good, but fuck with me due to my idiocy, not my join date. View Quote Wow, some things just don't change at all. In my oldest post that I can find on this version of the forum, I told somebody "Get over it and don't be so thin skinned." http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/5613_.html&page=1 |

I also have a bunch of posts from the majordomo list and the Yahoo groups archived away on a hard drive, my posting name was the same as my first one on the "new" ARFcom board. |

I started posting here in the tech forums to learn about ARs. Then one day I discovered GD. It has all been downhill from there.

I can't find it because apparently you can't search by poster username anymore. I found post 4, me asking for help on what I now remember as a pretty simple problem with a friends AR and reloads, but at the time caused me quite a bit of grief. I'm pretty sure my first post was in the WI HTF introduction thread though. View Quote You can search by user name hit options. |

I lurked the Afrcom NFA forums for like forever trying to find info on how things were defined in the US to gain some inpiration for over here.
Then one day I though I would check out what the average US gun owner talks about, I expected it to be lame as fuck like Dutch forums but it turned out to be be the most informative and entertaining thing on the planet . My first post I think was a reaction to DAVE_A sating something insanly wrong/Stupid/untrue about the Netherlands |

IIRC, it was in the maintenance section.
Although I swear I asked a question before 2004 when there was that old "board" AR 15.com had. But Staff told me a few years ago..........."nope, first post was back in March, '04". |

That was 16 years ago. Now that the search feature has removed the date window, there's no hope of me ever finding it Huh? Threads from back then don't show post counts but it looks like this was your first post. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/11807_AK-brake-v--flash-hider-or-preban-worth-it? Quoted:
I'm looking for some knowledgeable advice. I have a Bushy Shorty AK and am debating shelling out twice the money I paid for it to get a preban... just so I can have a flash hider. I am very limited on funds and this will be a major expense if I do it. I have heard stories about how terrible the AK brake is in group shooting and at night. In your honest opinion (IYHO?), for a rifle whose purpose is for minuteman or emergency tactical use, is it justified to pay what's necessary for a flash hider? Is it such an essential part of the rifle system to not do without it? Please tell me yes or no, and (most importantly) WHY. I value the opinions of those on this board. Thank you for your assistance. The W Man |

My local paper has an article saying that gun makers "are now going to roll out high powered assault rifles like the AR-15." The article stated that AR-15s were banned entirely. Where do they get their info? |

Back in the 1970's, and then again in the 1980's, once more in the 1990's and then one more time in the two thousands's I was so busy working, I never had time to tickle my winky with the feels that somebody, somewhere, might have joined some fucking website after I did.
