Used to have a bunch, but gave away or sold most of them.  I think I still have an Ontario and a Colt marked one.

I have one of those, don't shoot it with the plastic sheath on.

I have every M7 by the major US makers including the very hard to find FZR!

Yes, two USMC surplus bayonets.  But I think all but one of my rifles have suppressor mounts now.

That's American enough a reason to have one or two... or ten.  That  DiFi, Barbara Boxer and demanding mommies everywhere don't want me to have one, two, or ten ever mounted on my rifle is just as good a reason to have them.

Hell yeah I do. Only terrorists and commies hate bayonets, because they don't want to get skewered by freedom.

OKC M9 bayonet on my Colt 901.

The bayonet lug on an AR in NJ is illegal. Having a bayonet is perfectly legal, but having a bayonet and a bayonet lug on an AR turns the AR into an assault rifle which is illegal. But I can have as many bayonet as I want for things like shotguns, bolt actions, my M1 Garand as long as none of my ARs have lugs.

Fucking retarded isn't it?

As if having an arbitrary piece of metal hanging off the end of my rifle that I can stick a knife to makes it more dangerous than not having that lug. This state is fucked.

QUESTION:  What bayonet for my 14.5" AR with perm attached vortex???

View Quote

Any standard AR bayonet that fits over an A2 flash hider will fit over a Vortex. As far as size:

- 20" with rifle gas will take a bayonet
- 16" with mid-length gas will take a bayonet
- 14.5" with carbine gas will take a bayonet

Other lengths will need extra parts.

I have an original Buck M9. It was the first present my wife ever bought me back when she was my girlfriend over 20 years ago. It was the reason my first AR was a mid length!

Always thought that if people were rioting in the streets it might be one more way of persuading them to go somewhere else.

The bayo on a mosin nagant is truly impressive, turns the rifle into a fucking spear.  If someone were running at me with one I'd be persuaded to be elsewhere.

Just b/c a rifle bayonet didn't fit on a shotgun didn't stop the Army Ordnance Corps.  Suppressors on all the things!  Bayonet lugs on all the suppressors!

Mosin bayonet is best bayonet. Although the one that fits my arg. Mauser cavalry carbine is like a friggin short sword.

I have one like the OP's. It doesn't fit my 16" barrel, so it just hangs out in a junk box.

I figure if I am close enough to use a bayonet, I have already failed miserably. And that's what I have pistols for.

I believe they make an adapter for the 16" barrel for the bayonet to fit better.
