It is a royal pain trying to list URLs here.

June 1 all of my ARFcom RSS feeds in Feedly stopped working. Do I need to do anything particular to get them going again? When I click on the feed in Feedly, it says "Wrong feed URL or dead feed". Thanks in advance. The rest of the updates look great and I love the new post highlight.

About a week ago this RSS feed stopped working and has not been fixed. For example the following feed for the AK parts, now when you check it, it just goes to the forum index page https://www.ar15.com/forums/index.html

When you insert a YouTube video to a post, the hyperlink that's generated brings you to an incorrect page and tries downloading something if you click the reload button (on desktop).

In forum preferences I have "highlight self" set to yes and it's not working if page is supposed to be green because it's the same as always.
"Highlight author" is set to yes and working with a yellow page, and I can toggle it off and on setting it to yes or no. But I'm having no such luck with highlight self. Signed off and signed back in Emptied my history and cookies and no joy. Just a FYI in case others are having the same problem. |

Here's another request to fix the RSS feeds, which appeared to break on 6/1/17. As others have reported, FeedHQ tells me my RSS addresses are not valid RSS feeds.

Why, when I go to attach an image from my media library to a post, do I only see 6 albums to choose from when I have more than that?

Is there a limit to the number of pictures in our media folders? When I put 140 pictures in one folder it would only show one page. The button at the bottoms to go to the next page or select other pages disappeared. As soon as I deleted one photo the buttons would reappear.

I haven't kept up with this thread so I apologize if these have already been discussed.
I'd like to see: -Notification when you are quoted (similar to the @username feature) -The ability to hide entire threads. If it is something I have no interest in reading then I just hide it and it doesn't appear in the list of topics. Some stuff I know immediately I will be skipping over -> hit hide button and it's gone -A "topics I've replied to" button (similar to My Topics) that list all the threads you've participated in for the past 48?? hours. Hit the "topics I've replied to" button, see a list of threads you have replied to in the past 2 days, and hit green arrow to jump to 1st unread. |

IM messages are not displaying correctly for me. Quotes don't show correctly and the bottom half of the message is cut off.
It worked fine last time I used the IM feature a couple of months ago. |

It appears the board code may be altering certain Amazon URL links. One user has noticed certain Amazon.com links actually end up as Amazon.ca and take the user to the Canadian Amazon web site not the US version. Further the board code seems to be appending/modifying certain Amazon links to add "?tag=vglnk-c102-20" to the end of the URL, in some cases dropping the "/" at the end of the URL. See the discussion on this issue starting with this post in the Free Kindle Books thread. See my post made just today with more testing on trying to figure out what is happening, see this post. Rather than repost it again here see my post in that thread that contains several screen captures showing the issue. |

IM changes are good, but an increase in message retention would be good. After 14 years on the site, documenting prior deals and convos is becoming laborious when limited to 250 messages.
I don't think it's a server capacity issue since all messages combined are less than a single photo upload. |

2) Hiding threads is not something I want to start doing. Possibly down the road we can figure something out, but with doing this comes the chaos of "i hid a thread and now i want to see it". So this means we need to be able to hide threads, manage hidden threads, adjust all the tools to acknowledge this, and then do so for everyone. It's more work than it seems and would be a very low priority item. 3) This is what subscriptions are. Set your profile to subscribe to anything you post in and there you go. Or you can just do it manually when you post to a thread, so you can control it. |

=================== OK finally got some work done and updated the site... - Admin - few fixes for me to manage site! (Weeee i got some helpful toys!) - EE forums are listed in the search, under all the main boards. EE is special and need more love, but for now this will help. - changed ignored users from red to gray to make them more subtle and easier to ignore. - fixed some broken links in about pages - added a mobile option to not load avatars and signatures. (Low BW usage mode!) This will only be available to mobile devices and it's set per device. This is currently for team members only.It should help cut down on BW and battery usage, so please keep me posted on how it's working for you. - non team icon switched to a gray star and no longer the bfl (which is used for staff) - profile should correctly show settings for email notifications for IM - rare autologin bug fixed - fixed RSS feeds - fixed twitter links to now open properly in a new tab - added a refresh button to ignore list which will update usernames which have been changed (no more non matching ignores) - fixed some display and icon issues - a bunch of small tweaks and fixes Still lots being completed. We had a few things interrupt our normal work flow, so this list should have been larger. We also took a day to actually do some product testing and will have new videos and fun stuff to add soon. (Yes, we actually had a fun day, which was not as much fun as it should have been because we were working.  )

No avatars is a start but still not as good as old mobile site IMO. Saves some bandwidth, but still have all that wasted blank space on the side.
edit- and just curious, why only available on a "mobile" device? edit x2- Is this not site/multi forum wide option? I keep needing to go and reset it to disable in multiple forums/threads? |

I still find it cumbersome (on my phone in mobile view) while scrolling if I hit "user info" or "quote" it stops the scrolling.
Is there any way to fix this? Maybe require a longer touch? Or a double touch or something? |
