If I don't get the image verification right on the IM, my message gets lost. I had a message typed out to baloo helping with the members's son's cancer and it got lost. Very demoralizing.

Still getting a "missing text" error on JRS. Am I seriously the only person that posts from JRS? This is on Chrome with Windows 10. Desktop, not mobile.

Cole's reply here did not show up.
Also, when I hotlink my browser automatically selects the text and I have overwritten the text I was just trying to write after because of it. Happens on IE11 and Chrome 56. |

Something's wrong with the media server. It won't display anything but the first page of your photo storage when trying to post a picture and there is no page number to select or move to other pages.
ETA - Working now. |

Minor issue: If I link to the site from an email prompt, it won't allow me to log in once it takes me to the site. I then have to open arf in another window and then log in.

Is there a way to disable it switching to mobile site? I have to widen my browser further than normal for it to switch back to desktop.

The only problem I consistently have is using the color text button.
No matter what I highlight, the color codes get inserted at the very very end of the post instead of around the highlight. I don't have this problem with bold, italic or strikethrough. Windows 10 with Edge. |

Get rid of that three bar button thing at the top left and have the BFL and ARFCOM go the edge. I think it's better aesthetically. And maybe add some color to the logo, it's awfully monochromatic and boring.
And the posting page??? IT FUCKING SUCKS!!! Put the tools back on the top and the icons back on the left! The tools make the working area feel cramped as fuck and not having the icons in a box or with a border separating them from the work area just feels...weird. If you gotta fuck around with something how about fixing the fucking picture problem??? When someone posts a large pic ad adds type, everything extends to the right and there's no fucking way to scroll over to read it. I can't be the only one with this fucking problem!!! |

On my phone (possible mobile version), when I enlarge any page (two finger swipe to zoom in), the two arrows (the buttons that scroll all the way to the top or bottom of page) on the bottom right also get huge in size. I don't think that seems right.
They shouldn't scale up in size. Thanks |

Can post on JRS and ARL. Gotta hit the BBCODE button on the top right. Is there a way to get it set to the default so we don't have to click it every time? If you forget, you get the MISSING TEXT error and you lose your post.

The Amazon link option is useless on mobile. Same goes for 2 quote trees. The words are written vertically.
Also on the 2 quote trees, the "view quote" option covers the first line of the reply. |

Are you using a mobile device? The buttons are along the top except with mobile devices, where they show on the left. The issue with mobile is usage of limited space, but we can look at fucking adjusting the fucking bar and fucking making it fucking better. Fucking sound good? 
For real though, we are working on changes and I'll add this to the list for mobile devices. |

Once again, I apologize for not hitting things quicker, but I had some things delay me. All good now though, so should be rocking more code stuff.
UPDATE ================ - STAFF - completed work on new "required reading" code. Will be launching soon and gives us ability to set must read sections to the site. For example, rules for EE so folks can't say they did not know them. Once accepted, they wont pop up again. Still a little testing to finish up before we make it live! - STAFF - fixed account approval link inside user manager - STAFF - created new company management tools (account support) - Hardware - finished setting up a new server to add to web rotation. (Yes another server!) Will go live with it after testing and it may have bugs when it goes live, so we'll fix anything we find! - Fixed a bug with EE bump manager - Added cc and bcc to IMs for staff (requested for user support) - Removed old m.ar15.com url to send to main site - Fixed bug with delete messages in IM - Fixed so can't open EE feedback directly, must be in modal - Fixed a bug with forum groups - Fixed display issues with search tool - Fixed a bug with new forum creation - Created new icon award system (announcements coming soon!) - Fixed bug with messenger where messageID was blowing up - Fixed bug with moving posts for mods - Site created links should now default to HTTPS for images, posts, etc. (system based stuff, not user generated) - Fixed bug where spaces were added to the end of image links - Fixed a bug where could not open IM drafts Fixed some display bugs here and there with the styles as well. There are still things we are working on, and more updates coming. We also are looking at major infrastructure changes and out best approach to upgrading hardware. This is a big step and will also include network changes and more. The goal is improving network performance and getting things out of the north east.

*RARE* If you ignored a user, and something happened, I'm guessing name change, the name they were using when ignored is in the ignore list, but the posts by who they are now are still ignored, making it so you'll have an ignored member that's not on your ignore list, with no clue who it was, so they can't be un-ignored.

When inserting a link, the functionality from the previous version of the site worked more logically than the new version. I type a sentence, highlight the word/phrase that I want to be the link, and then click the link button and insert the link. When I do this on the new site, the "Display Text" field is blank and I have to re-type it. On the previous site, highlighting text from the post auto-populated that section of the link box.

The biggest issue I have with the new site is not being able to search the EE by category. It makes searching for a specific thing difficult, especially when combined with the minimum 3 character restriction on search queries.
Example: If I'm looking for a Glock 19, I used to search "Glock" in the Handgun section of the EE and parse through the results, since 19 is too short to include. Now if I want to search the same thing, I have to search "Glock" for the entire EE which brings up a ton of results because it includes parts, holsters, accessories. Am I missing something? Is there a better way to do it? |

Any way to stop the little page top/bottom arrows on the mobile site to stop scaling up when I make the page bigger? They get in the way of what I am trying to see. It's very annoying.

Posting from iPad, if any emojis are added via left side 3x8 stack, cursor goes behind the emoji code. So if I try to add more text after inserting an emoji, the emoji code gets pushed.

I clicked on the "My Board" button for the first time just a moment ago to see what it did and it only lists two forum locations. Industry, SWFA and Hometown, Texas.
What is it supposed to be showing me, and why is it instead showing me SWFA and Texas? |

Someone working on the program this morning? Logged in to this site and all was well and normal. Went to another site, checking the weather, came back to AR15.com and there is a change; the small box used to direct one to the last post is missing!

One thing that I've wanted for a while now is getting a mouse-over preview for search queries (e.g. Active Topics, Newest Topics, Search).
Mouse-over preview works when viewing a thread listing inside a specific forum, but not when using my favorite way of browsing the site. |

Verified it's an issue with Firefox.
Site runs great in Chrome but the text is blurry as hell and I can't figure out how to fix it. Made me feel blind. |

I do wish that an ignored member would actually be ignored/invisible VS highlighted in a darker grey or red. It's kind of counterintuitive as it highlights their activity Example:
