That link isn't a normal youtube url, nor does it contain the actual video id. Just so people understand. Updating a website is NOT fun. Often times it's not even the browsers themselves that are an issue, but the extra setting changes or add-ons people put on their browsers which alter the display. I'm in no way saying it's anyone's fault, but understand that it takes a bit of time to understand some of the underlying issues with all the variations out there. For a second consider iphones alone include mutliple hardware options (iphone 1-7) along with every possible iteration, or update, of iOS. Then add in potential user settings, third party apps, and security features and getting something to work on iphone means there are hundreds of variables at play.
I am definitely here to help resolve issues and we have android, iphone, kindle, etc devices to test with. We also have emulators for some of the non standard and older items. Additionally, we have you guys as a source, but it's much harder to work through an issue if we can't recreate it locally. Again, just have patience as we try to figure out what the culprit is that is causing this menu problem. I'm sure we will find it. |

I am referring to the drop down menus eating up 80% of the page. When hovering over a drop down it does it in IE11 and Chrome 56. View Quote What about settings and add-ons to your browsers? I am using both ie11 and chrome and neither one acts like this no matter what I try to do. The only thing I can think of is maybe your ISP is caching files or something that is causing you to have a mix of old and news versions of files and creating weird display issues. I assume you have SHIFT+F5 with ie11 and still no change? |

All right. Cleared phone Android 5.1 Chrome 53 and it is still eating up the screen with the discussion forums drop menu. Every browser I have is exhibiting the same.

It doesn't 'Popup' for me, but is a constant that allows me to scroll/browse the site behind it. The real problem is that is obfuscates the left part of the screen, so many controls are rendered unusable/unreachable. The 'Full Site' doesn't change anything for me. I tap that in the 'Member Panel' and still get the same crap. While I understand the issues with supporting the wide variety of platforms and versions out there, I running a pretty plane jane setup. Browser extensions are nonexistent. Furthermore, you are seeing this same problem reported across platforms, so it isn't just iOS, so don't be ragging on us too hard about versions and variations! Can't you just turn it off so the site is usable? Make it a preference and if someone needs their 'Member Panel', then can turn it on in their profile/preferences. I trust you'll be extending memberships while we test your troubled rollout? |

Both in Firefox (latest, tons of ad ons) and Chrome (latest, no add ons). I said "mouseover", I should have said "when mouse gets near". A 100mS delay before opening would prevent lots of screen flashing, or waiting for a click instead of 'almost hover activate' Temporary workaround was to use developer add on to block those drop down elements from expanding and the site works fine. Probably not the fix His Goatness would like, though. |

@GoatBoy, the latest change has pinned the 'Member Panel' to the top of the web page. It still does not go away, but one can now scroll it off the screen, if the page content is tall enough. So now only the top left side of each web page is unusable. Why don't you roll back to last known good code and work this offline?
