It's that time again, the Rolex24. Working Turn 5 and taking pictures during off sessions.

We did practice and qualifying for WeatherTech and Continental Tires series today than then night practice.

Today we had a Continental Tire Series practice, a WeatherTech practice, and a 4 hour Continental Tire race.

Someone dumped some oil between 4 and 5 and one of the cars that went for a ride through the grass and on the motorcycle course was one of burbanites cars:

The Continental Tire race:

I am not sure when the Continental Tire race will be shown, but watch it if you can.

The last hour was interesting.

All I could find this year is a magnus racing pit stream but I did not look as much as last year. Someone here posted some good streams last year and I think the Corvette team had a good stream too.

Was there on business Thursday. Had no idea there was going to be a race, until I heard the motors. Found three hours or so to mill around with a garage pass. My pics aren't as nice but I grabbed some as well. Got some video as well, the noise, good lord noise, sweet beautiful noise.

There's something to be said of the smell of rubber, race fuel and brakes.
