"Hippies"- has been my go to, but my kid is working in a Whole Foods type store and is perilously close to BEING a hippie (a responsible, pay your own way, libertarian, ammo-buying hippie, but...).

In the interest of peace in the family, I need a new term for the rioting, refusnik, professional trouble makers currently being gassed and flashbanged.

Agitators- too clinical
rioters- only correct some of the time
I need an insulting, suitable for mixed company label that drips contempt

So I turn to the gifted wordsmiths at GD.

The left has constantly had to change it's name to make inroads for new followers. Why not just call them them by the oldest name that I've ever read?

Jefferson referred to them as "collectivists". Still fits.

BTW, calling yourself a "capitalist" is akin to a Lakota referring to himself as "Sioux". A name given to you by an enemy. Collectivists, again, controlling the narrative.
