Maybe it's the singles scene where she lives (I commute from another town.) I'm married 20 years and not in the game, so the advice I have on tap is of limited value.

She likes to hunt and fish, carries a Springfield XD-9 compact, and has two kids who are actually pretty cool. As a single mom she seems to be doing a damn good job of making things work.

She can cook like crazy, and has OCD and caffeine-fueled bouts of house cleaning. Her sense of humor is what you wished every one of your female coworkers had.

Southeast Georgia must not be the cat's ass when it comes to finding a dude who isn't a man-child who wears his ass on his shoulders, I reckon.

And there you have it. No self made successful guy is willing to take that on. Sorry but that's the harsh truth.

When I divorced ( no kids ) I dated a gal with 2 kids an it didn't work out. Ex kept on interfering and stuff. I bailed after 6 months. Was fun though.

I won't go so far as to say kids are baggage but I imagine to the males in the age bracket she's looking for it is a huge negative. What young male wants to bankroll some other man's kids? At my age it wouldn't be a deal breaker but I would bet that's a big part of the problem.

Sounds like she requires a man with his shit together and knows what he wants.

2 kids from one or two other baby daddys probably arent on the top of that kinda man's list.

Her best hope is to find a guy that has custody of his own child and hadles his own business, but this man wont be found in a bar.

This kinda guy can also land a lot of tail so she is at a disadvantage.

I've known plenty of great women who are cool as hell and can't seem to find someone. I've concluded that there's something in them that doesn't translate to good intimate relationships even though they're awesome friends. Where I live it's not *normal* to reach 25 and not be married for several years already so when someone is nearing or already into their 40s (unless they're known for being an unabashed bachelor(ette)) I have to assume they're sabotaging themselves in some way.

I'm a single guy who's 40 now, but I don't have any kids and have never been married. I'm not perfect, but I'm a decent guy.

I'd have a hard time wanting to get involved with a woman that has kids. I don't dislike kids, but I'm also not sure I'd want kids around quite yet.

I'd say having kids is going to be one of THE biggest detractors to possible suitors. Some women don't seem to understand that guys don't have some super huge urge to sweep into a single-mother situation and plant their flag. Most of us would rather have our own kids.

So this goes back to a piece of advice I'd give to any young woman or girl - DON'T GET KNOCKED UP BY A DOUCHEBAG.

It is the kids. In today's world that is more or less asking a guy to commit to $10k a year or more in expenses plus dealing with one or more baby daddies. If she had the kids out of wedlock they also are a huge red flags as to poor choice making.

So many red flags in this thread alone. She's attractive for sure, but that's not all factors of a relationship. especially when there are kids involved. How old are the kids exactly?
