Measure again with the metric system. They say it's better, so that may help you out.
If it doesn't, then I don't know why they would say it's better. |

SERIOUSLY!? NINETY TWO AND A HALF INCHES? YOU'VE ALREADY STOLEN ONE AND A HALF FROM THE OTHER SIDES AND NOW THIS?! GIVE ME BACK MY THREE AND A HALF INCHES YOU LYING DECEIVING OBAMA VOTING FUCKERS. GIVE ME BACK MY INCHES! View Quote I know how you feel. I was looking at material to finish my basement (you probably don't know what that is since Florida stole your feet before Obama stole your inches) and the god damn studs they sell are either not long enough or way too long. |

At the Very First job I had after I got out of the Army I worked in factory making displays.
There were lengths of wire that were 12 feet long that were cut, twisted and bent into shape before being welded into place. One day I took out my measuring tape and found they were ALL Eleven feet and 15/16's of an inch long instead. A few months later we got a device that would take wire off a spool and cut the wires to the appropriate lengths. It was a Lot of fun learning to get the wires Straight before they were cut to specs. You should have seen the gouges in the wire, too. |

I wonder what will happen when he realizes that they are not 2 inches thick nor 4 inches wide.

Here's a question to ponder. Why are the studs on the west coast 92-1/4" long?

Reported for aggressive and condescending behavior. View Quote Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people. I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like that to my mother in front of me. Probably never happen though you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someones face. Just my thought. What do you think? Oh I am sorry you probably do not have a brain. I on the other hand will be happy to buy you a plane ticket to come here and see if you have the nerve to say that to someone I know. |

If this is what I think it is, this is the thread we separate the framers from the larrys
Measure again OP, they're usually 92 5/8 in the SE to achieve a minimum 8' 1" floor to ceiling rough dimensions after compression in a single shoe/double top plate wall config |
