Those of you with satellite radio and tiring of the usual stuff should give channel 70 a listen. B.B. Kings Bluesville. They repeat too but the sounds of some of those songs are great.  Albert King, Howlin' Wolf...

Okay, there's some overplayed stuff out there.  Yep, don't deny it.  Maybe you should just invest in a radio with buttons or knobs that do things like change the station or turn it off.

And those of you who said anything by Rush....  go choke on a bag of dicks.

I mean that with the utmost respect, of course.

I was thinking posts should be ended that whine about getting rid of things they don't like.  But then I saw this and I can support the ending of all things Bruce Springsteen and many things U2.  I'm sure there are others, then again I've managed to remove all Reba McIntire by changing the station.

If we're talking about same four tracks they play on "classic rock" radio, I agree.  Fortunately their catalog is deep as hell.

Most of the stuff you people are posting that you think is bad is still light years better than 90% of modern music. Especially what is considered to be current top 10.

Case in point. This fucking garbage. I can't believe people think this is good. Yet I hear it on the radio at work all the time. There are others but I am not going to waste my time looking up more garbage music.

Fuck the Beatles!  The most overrated band of no talent faggots that ever landed a record deal.  Sorry motherfucker McCartney is the worst of the bunch.  When I hear one of his/their songs on the radio my synapses can't fire fast enough to send an impulse to my arm to change that shit.

I miss waking up to Stevens and Pruitt.

But Mr.Music LOVED him some Getty Lee

i think it was Greggore on at nights, playing Heavy Metal. He started a rap song one night. Let it go for about a minute, and RIPPED the needle across the LP. "We don't do this shit"

KLOL 101 Houston

ETA: Rest in peace, Stevens. Rest in peace Pruitt.

And the new KLOL Tejano(fuck spelling you Mexicans) can burn in hell

I wish.

The younger people still love and follow it. Some rap is ok but most rap is crap. I really hate it when some of them try to sing and they just can't. Least some of them have a manager with a brain that will hire a singer to sing in the singing parts. Auto-Tune can only go so far.

My daughter and her friends all listen to Crap music. It all sounds like a guy with a casio smokin dope and rhyming into a mic.

I guess its karma for all those years my parents had to put up me playing heavy metal music.

That song is awesome.

I would never write off Led Zeppelin I or II or III.

Most of IV, including the song above, is great except for The Song That Must Not Be Named.

Everything afterwards just sucked.
