For those of you that actually attend your local gun show, how much is the entrance fee?

Miami $12 but free parking...

I think the ft Myers one is $5 for parking an either $8 or $10 to get in.

Last time I went to the El Maida Shrine Temple gun show, I think it was $6 and free parking.

Nations Gun Show in Chantilly is free parking and 12 bucks to get in (I may be a dollar or two off)

But its huge and there's always a ton of guns and ammo to look at. And for a gun show, most of the prices aren't insane, even for ammo

Last one I went to was a few weeks before the election

Pretty sure it's $12 for the RK Shows one up by the airport. There hasn't been one time I've left feeling like I got my money's worth, either.

Most are around $5, some of the larger one's are $7.

Dunno.  Haven't been to one in about 5 years.  Maybe if they got rid of all the non-gun/outdoors/hunting crap I might return.  I know where to find a flea market, and when local gun shows started to be half flea market crap, I quit going.  Including shipping, I can usually get better prices online in less time.  Paying shipping is only a little more money than paying out the admission, and parking at the gun shows.   The time savings and lack of crowded aisles is huge for me doing shopping on line.

They pay me to attend.

Haven't gone in a couple years but was $5. Parking was always free.

$8 and lots of free parking (in Jackson, MS) as I recall.

$12 plus $5 parking.

Getting to the point where it's too expensive to go for just jerky.  Gun dealers in our area are still delusional.

Most local to me . . . parking is free, admission is $8 ($7 w/ coupon).

I quit going to guns shows about 10 years ago when they started going downhill fast.

All but one place is $6 and free parking, one place charges for parking but I MAY hit that one once every year or two. It's $5 for retiree's or Mil/retired with card, also have a $1 off coupon usually also you can print off.

Pretty reasonable IMHO.

It's the largest show in OR (right across the river from Vancouver, WA).  I'm considered to be, "out of state."   IMHO, too expensive for my blood.  YES, I'm not in the ARFCOM 1% club.

Aloha, Mark

$5.00 + free parking, but that's still $4.00 too much.

Not sure. My disabled veterans plates get me free parking and my blue Army retiree card also gets me in free. IIRC it should be around $8 though.

Dallas Market Hall:  $10 and free parking.  Free admission if you buy the $35 NRA membership....which is really $10 too much.

In my area, $16 for the show itself.  It's been a while, but I think you have to pay for parking as well but it was pretty cheap IIRC, like $4.
So $20.

I think its 9 bucks with a 1$ off coupon that you can print off.

Been to 2 now, and the last one was just downright funny. It was right before the election so prices were way up, and the first vendor we pass coming in was doing a spiel about "If Queen Hillary gets elected these are gonna be banned" . He was showing a guy a Nikon buckmaster scope..

I pray that the nonsense is over and Gunshows return to being a good place to find some deals.

$5-$10 depending on the show, usually a $1-$2 discount for NRA members or having a coupon or the like. Most in my city have free parking at the event/expo centers, which are empty factories or empty shopping centers or big anchor stores converted to event spaces.

They are usually $5 or $6 and no parking fees.

It would have to be big damn gun show for them to charge for parking I would guess.

I think it is 6$.  Nobody would be there if they had to pay for parking.

Why do people go to gun shows?
Link Posted: 1/8/2017 6:39:26 PM EDT
[#30]
my favorite one $2, I usually find something to offset that.
most others $5-$7 is usually wasted money, it hard to find good deals at most gun shows.
never paid to park, I don't think I would.

best reason to go to gun shows is seeing/touching a lot of guns in person, then I order/buy from my local guy who can't stock everything but he can get it.
I've only ever bought 1 rifle at a gun show and it was a turd and I was stuck with it.

I also buy a lot of reloading supplies at shows. primers mostly, some bullets
I also see a lot of people I know there
and a couple of the shows have really good food available for reasonable prices.
gives me something to do in the winter when I can't go shooting or do other outdoor activities.

$10 and free parking at Knob Creek.

I stopped going to the other shows at the state fair and expo center when they started charging $8 to park and the crowds became ridiculous circa '08. Fees at those are $10-12, IIRC; ~$20 with parking. No thanks.

It's usually $8 and you get a $2 bill back if you pay with a 10 or 20. I have a stack of $2 bills that reminds me of every gun show i went to locally and was disappointed. Every single one.

5$ for the closest and 8$ for the bigger one. Free parking on both. I have a lifetime membership to the first, so I never pay anymore.

Typically $5 with free parking.

And sometimes that's too much.

$10 and then I think $7 for parking.  Las one I went to cost me an extra $5 because I got into the wrong line and accidentally bought a ticket into the reptile sales show they were having in the same building in the next area.  I walked in and saw snakes everywhere and thought I had gone to gunshow hell.
