The Army of Peepness will converge on Sylvania, GA March 2-4, 2017 to shoot, chug, and spew. Funny thing is, the list is already full. So is the standby list. We're keeping this inaugural event small, but if you keep an eye on the thread here and are quite lucky, you may get a reserved slot. Or, just a walk-on slot. Or just show up for camaraderie. Regardless, here's the thread to watch for CWSE. WHEN: March 2-4 2017 WHERE: Sylvania, GA LOGISTICS: Airports: The course will be in the middle of nowhere. But, there are a number of airports within easy driving distance including :Atlanta, Savannah, Jacksonville, Charleston, Augusta, and Macon. Hitchhiking to GA Southern University is also an option. Hotels: There are a couple hotels in town that are around 10-15 mins away. These are not typical of big-city hotels. Plan accordingly. Preferred hotel is the Sylvania Inn. Rooms are $60 per night. Camping: Ample tent camping area on site and parking for RVs, travel trailers, etc Donations: PayPal to [email protected]. 2/10 total: $1900 For food, portapotties, etc. All expenditures will be accounted for. Donations are much needed and graciously accepted. Food and targets don't buy themselves. OVERALL RULES: Follow all firearms safety rules. No handling firearms after drinking. No items of a sexual nature, there are kids around. Must sign waiver before running course. Listen to CW Staff - if they tell you not to do something and you do it, you're done. If you break any of these rules you will be banned from this and all future Cola Warriors. COURSE RULES: 5 minute penalty for each failed obstacle. Each obstacle must be attempted for at least 10 seconds. Well, dang. I've wanted to do one of these for a few years now, and was waiting for Southeast.
Those who go: have a blast and make it a success. There needs to be another (so I can go). |
|
If you're new, and want to run, keep an eye out here for openings close to the event date.
ETA: New policy reflecting the overwhelming walk on interest. We really have to limit the folks showing up this year. |
|
I'll be there with bells on. Actually, I'll make it back from SE just in time to put in a week or so at work and then head up to Kingman.

If you're new, and want to run, show up with a pistol, a rifle, and 2-liter and you will run. You may not get swag, but you will get veteran status. Or hell, just show up. You can use my weapons and we'll have enough orphan cans around for you to chug. View Quote Ooooooooh. That might work. |

If you're along I-95 from the Mason-Dixon line to the location, I've got a seat for you. You're more than welcome to share in the driving duties too.

As such, the participant list is small and mostly prior attendees so that we can be sure that new local event staff are not overwhelmed as they learn. These events can be resource heavy, and we don't want people to have a bad time due to growing pains. |

We are hoping for constructive criticism and some help getting this baren land prepared for the great vomit waves of the future |
