I made my first account when I was 17 and this place was like an email newsletter list in an effort to try to get my dad to buy an AR before the 1999 California ban. He ended up getting a Bushmaster 20" A3 HBAR with an AK muzzle brake.

I made my current account when I was 23 or 24 when off-list lowers became a big thing in CA and I wanted to know what kind of parts to buy. Back then, Del-Ton kits were all the rage and my first AR was one of their HBAR kits (didn't want to wait like 6 months for the government profile kit) on a High Standard lower.

2002-2005 I had an account that I lost my password or I think it maybe was a website (server?) upgrade and it was gone as in history. I was mid 30's. After many years of lurking and not feeling the urge to re-register, I registered this year.

I created my original account shortly after Hurricane Ivan 12 years ago, so I was 30.

Early 20's. I'd lurked for a couple years before that. The first time I ever shot a gun was when I was 20 and a cousin took me. When I went home I started research and learning about firearms, safety, history, drills, gear, etc and found arfcom that same day. Bought my first shortly after.
