Looking at some of the packages, the round count that you are allowed seems kind of low, do they allow you to purchase and shoot extra ammo?

I shot their MP5 A2 last March and did one 25 round mag for $30.

It was fun and I got a T-shirt.

They have a lot of nice stuff, evidently.

I agree, for 450.00 to shoot the machine guns I would want more than 40 rounds on each gun. That's like 2 seconds of fire

I think the price on shooting mg is a bit high for my taste, but I paid to shoot some full auto AK, MP5, AR15
do it once, its fun, and more memorable than loosing 500 on a table or street hustler in 5 min

I have been there and met the owner and staff.   He is a member here and an awesome person.   Great business.   He employes veterans as much as he can, works with them, and appreciates them.  It may be expensive, but wow it is a great place.   Lots to shoot and hmmwv's to go driving in.  Over 750 class III automatic weapons.

It's a good time if you've never shot an MG or don't have access to an MG.

If I go to Vegas, I'll go to BFLV just because the owner seems like a really good guy.  Well that, and because it looks pretty fucking cool.

per the FAQ at the top right of the homepage:
Q: Can I add additional ammunition?
Yes-- the extra ammunition will be priced using individual weapons pricing.

The prices are comparable to other ranges out here. For a tourist rental range its the best. The place is packed.

Everything near the strip is expensive. Given the immense cost of running such a range I think the prices are reasonable.

What I like most is that they have a ton of less common machineguns for rent. The next time I take someone there I'm renting an Ultimax.
