ETA: Beginner 'chutes are often "programmed" to deploy in case the wearer passes out, forgets, or tries to suicide. They fail sometimes. |

I love how every mother fucker that eats shit and has only themselves to blame starts a gofundme for a handout.

He jumped by choice and now wants others to donate to his cause. |

Sonny Bono did it right the first time and never had to leave the ground.

I hope he got to the root of the problem and decided to leave that hobby before he falls further into a pine box.

Has anyone ever succeeded in moving a tree by hitting it with their body at a relatively high speed?
I know it usually doesn't work very well with a motor vehicle. |

He needed to add a little power and get him self some altitude......

I don't fault a person for trying a "Go fund me" at all. People can decide to donate or not on their own. That aside........
It's obviously risky. But dang if that doesn't look like a blast . Flying down that avy chute looked awesome! I'm too old to start a base-jumping / wingsuit hobby though IMO. Best wishes for a full and rapid recovery. Cheers! -JC ETA: I laughed. Quoted:

That is some tier 1 stupid shit there. Not unlike free solo rock climbing, although I would say the rock climbing is probably less dangerous as the climber has at least some control. Wingsuit "flying" is really more of a free fall with a piss poor attempt at controlling the descent. I have little sympathy to those injured or killed doing it.
