Well .... looks like Im the first to post from Alaska on this topic so I will try to speak for a couple of us. Being on Kodiak Island I know a few Arfers. Was at Safeway shopping and I hear "hey Kodan" Have met and know about 3-4 that I see regularly and a couple from other parts of the state that I have met. All have been cool was good to meet them. I think being in a small community helps to know whos who. View Quote You didnt read my post apparently Damnit, page 5 and didn't call it. |

My second time shooting in 8 or 9 years was with a member on here I met through the HTF.
A great guy, and very friendly. I actually need to ask him to come back to the range with me, as the Wife and I are trying to improve our pistol marksmanship and he is an instructor with the police and I know I could use the pointers. I know there are several in my area, and would be down wuth meeting any one of them. |

Quoted: I've met several dozen over the years. A lot of great, give you the shirt off their back type. a few however I would prefer to never meet again. The GAHTF used to do meets all the time, I'm not sure what happened to that. View Quote Well, there was a HTF MOA shoot last weekend, there's a campout next weekend, I missed the shoot earlier in the month... All listed in the GAHTF... Haven't seen a lunch or dinner meet in a while, I'll admit... |

Define "weirdo." Are you saying that it isn't normal to pass a snake around a campfire, encouraging everyone to take a lick? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Met a bunch at a local shoot. Met one in Vegas at Shot Show. Couldn't find the damn ARF get together there.
Used to work with one, although he is not on very often. Met a few more in FTF transactions. |

Between the Gunstock events and The Hun Farm, I've met over 1000 arfcommers. I even spent the last Thursday - Sunday with 4 of them.

I've met two (that I'm aware of). One a prolific poster who's pretty well known, one a less frequent poster, both longtime account holders like me.
Less frequent poster was a super guy and it was awesome meeting him. Well-known prolific poster was a jerk who screwed me over on something and I frankly don't care to run into him ever again. |
|
I work with a few. Met a bunch more at CWW and CWT. Without a doubt some of the finest people I've had the pleasure of meeting.

Met them, ate their food, shot their guns, slept in their beds (guest bed ya pervs) . . .
I'm a regular ARF-bum! |

I saw one at a gun show once. He had the badge on his hat. It was pretty much confirmation of what I expected.

Be careful. Some of them are crazy. The last time I got together with an Arfcommer it ended up like this.. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3552650/20160813_023051.jpg View Quote For HARAMBE! YEAH!!! |

I've met a few. Some were cool, some were jackasses and were socially retarded basement dwellers. The latter group scared me the most. None have ever been to mi casa or even know where it is.

Met a bunch, was roommates at Fort Campbell with another...great folks, one and all. Well, there was one guy from CT who was a little out of control...LOL
Dined with them, shot with them, campaigned for them, attended rallies with them....good folks!

Turns out a customer at my store is an Arfcommer. I'd talked to him quite a few times before I found out. Only way I found out was I noticed the BFL sticker on his car, and hit up the HTF to find out who it was.
Arfcommer's are some of the best people out there. |

I have not met any either. But there does not seem to be that many where I live.

Was working with a guy from KY late one night, first day we worked together. Started talking about finishing his 80% lowers and going to Dillion Precision during his honeymoon. "Arfcom?" I asked. You too? was his reply. Think he moved to Idaho or Oregun soon after. Hi Cliff! |
|
|
I work with one.
He has a BFL on his truck, he is unaware of my presence. ETA: I see all of you checking my location. |

Met an a member before I joined. Found out he was on arfcom after I joined.

I've met 100s of arfcomers. They all probably think I'm an asshole. I know their wives do.

Quoted: I'll expand on my earlier post: Met AROCK. EricThe(sadly missed)Hun. TheBeekeeper. AntiUSSA MissMagnum. GrinandBarrett. CRock Garyowen Troy and a whole bunch of others....(saw a bunch...the Avilas were there at the first BRC, but might not have met them directly...). Seen one on the road a few weeks ago in Overland Park, KS. In the left lane fucking up traffic, he brake checked me. He can go fuck himself.

I've met people and then later found out they were Arfcomers.

Oh yea, found out my cousin and her husband were Arfcommers a couple thanksgivings ago.

I'm the halfway/water point for a ruck this morning, just had a guy ask if I was on Arfcom because my truck has a giant BFL on it.

I haven't met one either.
Although I suspect a person in my Advanced Accounting class was a possible arfcommer. |
