How in the great grand scheme of civil liberties is this progress?
Berkley protesters demans 'spaces' of color. Do they not know anything about this shit? 
or this? 
That's not the way I was raised and I'll be damned if Rosa Parks wouldn't spit nails if she saw this. ETA: It's not divided we stand...it's United We Stand. |

The answer to your question is as you suspect, nothing. Some of them aren't even bothering to teach their kids anything basic...respect for others...respect for themselves...good morals...
Also, the article started off with "Left-wing students at the University of California, Berkeley..." which I find funny, what student of Berkeley is not left wing? |

Our schools REALLY started going south in the mid 60's, so anyone educated after that didn't get the whole real story. My Grand kids don't ask me anything about history, not even sure schools teach it anymore. Social studies is a lost art and doesn't fit in with the current curriculum.

I got lucky. My daughter's Junior history teacher was out most of the year traveling and had a sub babysit the class. The rest of the class made it to chapter 7 in the text book. We went through the whole book, with me pointing out discrepancies and anything PC. I also expanded on more info that was stored in my brain.

I grew up in a family of grampas and their brothers who fought WW2, they would not talk much of their own experiences, but made Goddamn sure I knew history. I was lucky.
