It's all about the individual rail design with Pic. But, generally, M-Lok is very easy to make look good. KeyMod always looks like shit.
I personally think the Geissele Mk4 M-Lok is the sexiest rail.  |

But if I'm not being nostalgic and want a functional working rifle, I'm going to use the best technology available. Quad rails add unnecessary weight and have poor ergonomics compared to Mlock. |

I like it on a thin handguard with a pressure pad on the top rail section (like my SBR), But other than that I agree with you... It does have its purpose, but there are a lot of "tools" around for sure |

Too much unnecessary weight and rail space if you're not gonna use it .
Also is rough on the hands unless you add some rail covers which adds more weight . Mlok is the best thing to happen for the rail system . |

Whatever mlok and keymod are, they have passed me by. I have had no need or desire for a rail of any kind for many years. Call me an AR dinosaur. I'm still shooting a basic Colt 6721, and own some 6520, and a decent frankengun on a YHM receiver..
