I understand but have mostly stayed out of it.
One question... What if a vendor actively takes an anti freedom stance, in message or in actions? Surely we can't be chastised for criticizing them, right? |

I appreciate the point of what you're saying and this thread, but that could be applied to a lot of industry partners over the years. |

Just a question, but do you mean it's legitimate along the lines of another company like what happened in the past with Troy? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Just found this thread while reading the other one.
Thanks for the heads-up, VA-gunnut. |

I must have missed all that. Course I'm not a fanboi of anything unless it is .gov issue. Any .gov, BTW. Preferably from the early part of the 20th century.

Same here, I've been staying out of GD for a few months Apparently from before the specific problems, just to get away from normal knuckleheadedness around here. Guess I didn't miss much stuff I needed to see. |

Does this mean I can't ask which product is more betterer anymore

<<scratches head>>
Guess I haven't been paying attention. Probably a good idea, though. |

Obviously we'd like to keep shittalking to/about anyone to a minimum, but I think I know who you are talking about and that isn't the kind of situation that this rule is intended to address. IMO, legitimate criticism about a company, its products or work, or its business practices should be fine. If they stole from you, fucked up your gun, left you hanging for months, or whatever, you can put it out there without having to worry about anything. If you don't like their owner or don't like them because they are competitors to your favorite company, you'll be better off posting about that on Facebook or something. |

They aren't competitors to any of my favorite companies, I just think the way they handled a particular dispute was shitty, but I think it attracted enough attention that most people who would do business with them would know. I do think they are on the edge of advertising without being an industry partner though. Arfcom has always been fair when talking about a legitimate grievance though, IME. |
