Fuck Trump. He has done more to damage the conservative movement than the Democrats have in the past 50 years. He gets my vote, and nothing more.

Lol.  You sent money to a billionaire.  You probably work for free too.  You are going to spend your whole life getting tooled in the ass if you don't apply a little critical thinking.

He'll no. Most of it will be used to pay his own companies for services.

Our Founders had such conviction to give birth to our nation that they put not just the whole of their personal fortunes on the line but their very lives. Where's that type of conviction from Trump now that its survival is ostensibly on the line? Oh that's right, he's busy taking donations and paying his own companies... Color me unimpressed.

If just 1/10th or even 1/5th of your personal fortune was enough to completely fund a political campaign that was being touted as saving the nation from the brink of disaster, would you sacrifice that?

Just how much, in dollar amount, has Trump actually sacrificed for the cause anyway? How much of his own skin has he really put in the game? I haven't seen any mention of that number despite all of that boasting about it in the primaries. And I'm not talking about money he's paid to his companies.

You guys whining about Trump not paying taxes or paying his own companies for use of facilities don't understand the first thing about finance, accounting, or how election law works.

First off, Trump DOES pay taxes, and I'm sure he has paid hundreds of millions in taxes over the years. The fact that he qualified for a write off based on losses from some casinos in the 90's doesn't mean he doesn't pay taxes now (assuming he owes money, which I believe he does). If he didn't pay what he owed he'd be in prison.

Secondly, are you seriously not understanding that the Clinton Foundation is just a huge money-laundering operation that is set up to allow the Clintons to avoid paying taxes on the payolla they get from their insider corruption racket?

Thirdly, Trump's election campaign is required by campaign finance laws to pay the corporations that host his events. The fact that he hosts them at his own facilities is his choice and part of his brand. If the entities didn't pay his campaign for his events then they would be in violation of campaign finance laws. So, of course he hosts these events at his own properties. Why wouldn't he? Wouldn't you?

Finally, yes, I gave money to Trump's campaign. And I hope it helps him win.

He put 50 million of his own money into his campaign.  Name another candidate who has put a fraction of that.

Source for that? I haven't seen that anywhere. And, considering none of the others bragged about self funding, why would they have?

For someone who constantly bragged about self funding, a whopping 0.005% of his self claimed fortune sure isn't much considering the stakes.

Ok Chief, don't donate. No big deal to me. This argument that he is hosting events at his facilities is tilting at windmills. The overwhelming amount of money goes to media buying in swing states. If you aren't seeing the ads, then it's because you aren't in a swing state. I can't even turn on my TV without seeing his ads. But I live in a swing state.

The point of him "self-funding" his campaign is that he isn't getting money in from special interests. His money is coming either from himself, or from small donors. During the primary, it was mostly his personal money he was spending because he wasn't really fund-raising at that time.
