Unfortunately, those who actively follow & care about such things are a minority. And of that minority, half look the other way because they are "Team Democrat" and have already sold out any trace of ethics and lawfulness in the name of the party. Unless it is something scandalous that the majority (who again, do not care about campaigns and their super-PAC collaborating illegally) can wrap their head around (like saying "grab her by the p*****"), it will fall on deaf ears.
