View Quote with all the hype and concentration on the cubs, i think the indians have the upper hand, i wouldn't be shocked in the least if they win. |
|
the dodgers could at least pretend they wanna still be in this series.
|
|
I'm watching on Fox Sports Go and there has been an anti Clinton add each break.
Is that the same with the TV feed? |

Has anyone asked the catchers brother if he wishes hed gone to the indians now?
|
|
|
so, kershaw has been injured the past two years, and it's his back, which is not good and doesn't get better over time... jason smith on FS1 said dodges should look into trading him in the near future while they can get a ransom for him... i think dodgers should consider it in the off season and upcoming season..

Turns out there wasnt ever a curse, the Cubs just sucked for 70 years

Quoted: Has anyone asked the catchers brother if he wishes hed gone to the indians now? View Quote I doubt it. He's a free agent after next season. Cleveland was going to use him as a utility player and refused to promise him that he would be their catcher. He went to Texas to stay a full-time catcher so he can get paid in free agency. |

Well Chicago, you did it in six. Don't fuck up the next round.

Im a Cards fan, I gotta talk at least a little shit
But Im also a fan of baseball and baseball history and this is really exciting, one of the most amazing WS matchups possible, I cant wait to watch. I cant even throw a prediction out right now. One of the many reasons baseball is special is that it brings generations together and Im sure there are a lot of families out there watching recaps tonight together just in awe, and I bet there are a lot of people out there thinking "I wish dad could have seen this" I hope all you Cubs fans out there enjoy and savor this moment, I mean it. |

Come forth if you have the Tribe and Cubs in the World series and be recognized

Payroll #s are pretty interesting too. 2 of the top 5 didnt even make the playoffs. But #24 made it to the WS. |

Payroll #s are pretty interesting too. 2 of the top 5 didnt even make the playoffs. But #24 made it to the WS. Yeah, but no one noticed, because no one went to the games. WHEN the Tigers win the World Series, I'll be able to say that I remember the Bobby Higginson years, I remember the Jeff Weaver years, I remember the Jeremy Bonderman years, I remember the Todd Jones years, I remember Chad Kreuter and Cecil Fielder. Indians fans don't remember the Hannahan and Chris Perez years. They don't remember Masterson, Jhonny Peralta or Assdribble Cabrera. They don't remember that CC Sabathia was an Indian. They don't know shit, and they can't say shit. You know all the FWFs that have showed up rooting for the Bigots. Do you think it's right that they should just pop up and be, as one FWF put it 'die hard Indians fans'? |

Chicago a city of 2.7 million has attendance of just under 40k. Cleveland a city of under 400k has an attendance just about half of Chicago. Looks like Cleveland has a much higher percentage of residents attending. Whats up with those Cubs fans? |

On the subject of attendance, St Louis has an entire metro area population of 2.8 Million(both sides of the river) and are second in attendance

So thats a shit showing for a team that makes it to the WS. I always thought the Indians drew well and the area and state loved them. |

For the first time in over 30 years of watching baseball, I finally have a reason to watch a World Series.
Yes, I pulled for the Braves every time they were there as I watched almost as many of their games as I did Chicago's. But I didn't really care one way or the other. Now it's personal. What stinks is game four is Saturday night. UT/USC is at 7pm. And assuming it goes at least five, Cowboys and Iggles at 8 Sunday night. Choices...choices. |

So, cubs seem to act like they've already won, media and fans acting the same.
I won't be surprised in the least if Indians win this entire thing. |

(but it's true I'm not exactly sure what you mean when you say 'cubs seem to act') Can you post any links to articles or videos that show this? Any quotes from players or coaches? I assume you don't mean mindless drivel from drunk fans on Waveland, which is inevitable and expected. I probably don't pay as close attention to it as a hard core fan, but I haven't seen anything like what you describe. I know alot of Cubs fans, and not a single one is saying anything of the sort. |

Bite your tongue. i assume you're saying this 90% for personal reasons?? edit: and i could be completely wrong... look at my damn bracket... i mean i had to pick the O's for no bad juju, and i thought they had a real shot if the cards fell their way. but like we've talked about, this is the most unpredictable sport. |

Well you said 'cubs seem to act', but what I think what you mean is 'the media seem to act'. We both know that they will make up any kind of bullshit to create a buzz. And, around here, any fan that acts like they have already won would most likely be beaten around the head and shoulders and stuffed into a 55 gallon drum. Let's play ball. |
