Men do not need to swear off women. Men do need to realize how much power many of them give up just to get a woman to have sex with them. Once men realize how they give up power, they can stop playing the games that cost them their power, autonomy, and freedom.
Women are not stupid and learn early on how to use sex to manipulate men, just as many men use money to manipulate women. Realizing where the power comes from, then deciding how much power you want to give up for sex seems much better than just swearing off women. |

Half of us are divorced!
There's a point here. Some people don't need to be out there fucking up other people's lives. You can't give up drugs, drinking, sex with random people, you don't need to get married or be in a long term relationship. This is the lifestyle you need. How many people do you know that have only been divorced once? Think about it. If you could cull out that portion of the population, divorce lawyers would weep. But us guys, we're all suckers for a little pussy and some girl who we think loves us. |

I think it's just an issue with modern women. They tend to HIGHLY overrate themselves to the point they only want an attractive, rich professional who knows what he wants in life and likes to travel the world. Meanwhile, the woman is 200 pounds and works part time at mcdonalds while living with her parents. The standards have gotten so ridiculous it's easy to understand why some men give up hope. It's no longer enough to be 'as good as' the girl you're trying to court. You need to be better. Then she ends up sleeping with other people because 'she's a strong independent woman and can't be tied down so early in life'.
I blame the modern 'empowered feminist' movement mostly. |

The "go your own" way movement or whatever it is called is in reaction to the lopsided court system that always portrays woman as victims and men as perpetrators. Europe has had a similar social change in that men will cohabitate with women for years and then just leave. Many European men simply refuse to marry and the court system in many countries don't honor "girlfriend rights". There is simply no incentive to get married at all. This isn't a new phenomenon, trying to convince a man to marry a woman usually involved a hefty bribe known as a dowry. A large dowry or land holding ensured that your daughter would receive some level of fair treatment as opposed to outright abuse and was an insurance policy against divorce. If someone left your daughter high and dry then they would have to pay back the dowry or give up the land holdings. Today, nothing like that exist and in fact it is the direct opposite. Your risk factors for a failed relationship are different than for a man. |

There is a difference between a man preferring the independence that comes with being single and a man thinking all women are out to hurt men because he's made one poor relationship decision after another or is the kind who can't get laid unless there is a financial transaction involved.
