Still kicking at 81 years old.

I think he is the last survivor of the "retirees" cast members from Cocoon.

My favorite movie with him is The End of the Line, when him and Levon Helm steal a train to protest the loss of railroad jobs.   Kevin Bacon also stars.

No shit. The shocker is - he's younger than Gene Wilder, who died today at age 83.

Him in the The Firm with Tom Cruise talking about oral and what not was perhaps one of the most uncomfortable scenes I have ever witnessed.

I saw where he sold his ranch in Greybull.
He has moved to a house in town and sold his ranch for $1.15 million

Brimley appeared in his own listing photos, blacksmithing in an apron.

Wyoming Horse Ranch - Recently Sold $1,150,000 Greybull, Wyoming

The Wyoming Horse Ranch is a charming, well located small ranch between Greybull and Shell, Wyoming. The 317± acre ranch includes 160 ± acres of irrigated land, a BLM grazing allotment for 159 AUMs, excellent water rights and nearly one-half mile of Shell Creek. The rock solid improvements include two homes, a blacksmith’s cabin, a rodeo arena with bucking chutes and roping boxes, paddocks, loading facilities, large shop and tight fencing. This ranch has good habitat for upland birds and a fishable stretch of trout water. - See more at: http://hallhall.com/ranches-for-sale/properties/wyoming-horse-ranch#sthash.gemxPcOR.dpuf

If I ever met him then I would have him autograph my testing equipment in a heat beat. That would be fucking awesome.

When Cocoon came out, I would have been 10 or 11 years old. I remember seeing that movie and thinking that he was at least in his 70s' in that movie.

Cocoon came out in 1985, so figure they were filming in 1984.  That would have made Mr. Brimley 49 years old during filming!

NFW.
