View Quote LOL. Cajun Wilford Brimley. That movie sucked so hard it made it awesome. |

Much like Deadpool became cancer Wilford Brimley became diabeetus, thus he is immortal.

He was as old in Cocoon as Tom Cruise was in the latest Mission Impossible movie.

Did someone else watch the latest episode of Best of the Worst?

My favorite movie with him is The End of the Line, when him and Levon Helm steal a train to protest the loss of railroad jobs. Kevin Bacon also stars.
This was a good movie. Levon Helm was excellent as well. |

Him in the The Firm with Tom Cruise talking about oral and what not was perhaps one of the most uncomfortable scenes I have ever witnessed.

Still kicking at 81 years old. I think he is the last survivor of the "retirees" cast members from Cocoon. View Quote I watched 'End of the Line' for the first time ever on YouTube a couple of days ago. Good Flick! |

He's probably really nice, but he seems like one grouchy old son of a gun

In this universe he is alive (The Mandela freed from Jail Berenstain Universe)

Yup,
I run into him pretty often when I am shopping, he comes over to the town I live in to do his grocery shopping, grumpy guy, but fun to talk with. |

Have you got him to autograph your diabetes testing supplies? If I ever met him then I would have him autograph my testing equipment in a heat beat. That would be fucking awesome. |

When Cocoon came out, I would have been 10 or 11 years old. I remember seeing that movie and thinking that he was at least in his 70s' in that movie. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Cocoon came out in 1985, so figure they were filming in 1984. That would have made Mr. Brimley 49 years old during filming!
