a better question is, why do men have to register for conscription after we amended the Constitution to prohibit slavery or involuntary servitude?
I'm not a big fan of feeding the government's appetite for useless wars with my children's dead bodies. |

I would say there are a few women out there serving that think its bullshit, that it's not required for women to register now that they can serve in positions where they can smoke someone on the offensive.
One of my friends who is active duty and a women is an example and thinks its bullshit that there is no draft for chicks. She was pissed when they shot that idea down. Her words were something to the effect of "They want to play the whole game, but not get the whole package". I am sure there are more out there with the same mindset. |

I just think it makes zero logical sense. If you want equality you take all or none, there's no being selective to being equal.
It seems like in this day and age, males seem to get the short end of the stick. You can have women pride, black pride, fat pride, Mexican pride, Asian pride...but the moment someone has white pride or male pride, it's misogynistic, racist, womanizing, etc. The fuck is wrong with our country? |
