Well? I haven't cried in awhile, maybe a year. Recently I was informed that suppressing crying is bad for you. Like really bad. Is it? Do you do it? Let's conduct a poll too... for science. Poll inbound.

I never cried until after the divorce.
Now I cry randomly for no fucking reason. |
I haven't cried in almost 10 years. My shrink told me I was turning sorrow into rage, and I needed to feel sadness again.
Hasn't happened yet. |
Rarely but got teary eyed when we left my son at Colorado Mesa University last week.
After Daniel beats Johnny with the crane kick and Mr. Myagi looks on with a smile of approval at the end. Gets me every time.
I cried when my brother died 10 yrs ago. That was the last time.
In the last decade? When my grandparents died, and my dog died.
I don't remember that last time I cried. Probably my uncles funeral about a year ago.
Dec. 2010 when my Brother died and May, 2015 when my Dad died.
I believe that will get you your ass kicked man. No. No man.
Saturday I was filling up an air tank and the 3000psi line popped off and smacked me across both testicles. I felt a couple tears escape.
I thought when my sister died last year I'd used my up lifetime supply of tears, but I'm sure I'll find more eventually . . .

Lost my dad two and a half years ago. Thinking about him and missing him really gets to me.
Old school males are taught not to cry. While getting one of many deserved ass whippings as a boy, I only had to hear it once. You wanna cry after what you did, I'll give you something to cry about. Whap! Bam! Boom! Now, my tear ducts are a desert. |
Every two weeks when I see how much Uncle gubermint took out of my paycheck!

Last I remember was a couple years ago when my wife was diagnosed with cancer & I was traveling for work, so I could be there for her.
Fuck cancer. |
Every time I masturbate, so, like, 5 times a day.
EDIT: Since this thread ended up being more serious than I expected; The latest I can remember was when we were with my brother at the hospital on his last day, watching his condition deteriorate (a little over two years ago). |
In the last 10 years I can only think of two times. My niece got hit by a car and was convulsing (she is fine now). It was THE worst day of my life. And when my dog died last year I cried for about two days straight. Other than that I'm stone cold.
I have "it's dusty in here" moments on a regular basis, but as far as really crying - when my fiancee was in the ICU and they didn't think she was going to make it, when my nephew died, when my mom died, and when my dad died. So 4 times in my adult life.
Field of Dreams, when they play catch. End of October Sky, when he lets his dad launch the rocket. Get choked up. Every single time.
Yeah, I miss my dad. |
I cry a lonely tear every now and again. I bawl like a bitch when the irs buttfucks me every chance they get.
I'll admit it, I tear up far more often that I should and for no reason at all. At this point, I think it has a lot to do with my work and job environment and feeling like I have literally no control over my life.
I try to make myself when someone dies. Sometimes it works. Every once and a while really crappy movie or an arfcom thread will dust it up a lil.

I never cried until after the divorce. Now I cry randomly for no fucking reason. That's common in rape survivors. I honestly think there are few things worse than having your once loving wife abort your child and then send you the bill. |

I find that a little quiet sobbing on the shower floor in the morning before work really gets me right for the day.
Not a sissy. Growing up if anyone cought you crying they would give you something to cry about.

Be quiet, big boys don't cry.
Be quiet, big boys don't cry. Be quiet, big boys don't cry ....... |

There are things that will make me think of my father, or things that remind me that I am that man to my own kids that will get me to well up a bit from time to time.

This site seems pretty sensitive overall, mostly about women.

I'm gonna have to put my dog down in the next week or two, I can't guarantee anything there, best fucking dog I ever had.
I've shed a tear at a few stories here where 4 year olds and the like go thru hell, torture, and worse, and are found dead. I didn't cry at either of my parents deaths, but there was quite a long build up to both. |

The last two times I cried were in September of 2010 and April of 2004. Can't really recall any others, so I'm going to say about once every six years.
The last time I cried, I had buried my mother, put my dog down and was let go from a decade long employment all within a two week period. About 6 weeks later I found myself sitting on the couch, watching some sappy ass shit on TV and just started bawling. Took me a half a minute to figure out what the hell was wrong with me, "Oh yeah, all that shit you went through last month." Good times. |
