I wish my local Walmart would have deals like that. Mine has a Marlin 45-70 on "clearance" for $536. I want one but that's not a good enough deal for me to get one right now.

Mine has marked down all the Perfecta ammo, but the clearance tags actually being correct was hit and miss.
The clerk got all pissy I kept asking him to scan it to see the actual price...

Local Walmarts don't have guns
or anybody working the ammo register 98% of the time. Always gotta have someone from the tire or paint dept page someone

When the local Walmart here stopped selling guns they cleared out their inventory by lowering prices.
I got 3 Savage 110 in 30-06 for $70 each...one for me, one for my brother and one for my father. I also pick up Winchester 94 for $190 and Remington 1100 for $259. ETA also hit the jackpot when local K-Mart was closing and had ammo on clearance. They had 12G shotgun shells (Field/Dove loads) for $0.99 per box and then additional 10% off so ended up paying $0.90 per box. I took every box they had which was 2 shopping cart full. That was 15 years ago and I still have couple boxes left. They also had 22lr Winchester Wildcat for $0.90 per box but back then that wasn't such special deal so I didn't get any. |

WAL-MART CLEARANCE PRO-TIPS:
-99% of the time, one Wal-Mart will NOT price match another Wal-Mart's clearance prices. It is not policy and the 1% is if you get a nice Manager who will make an exception. -Clearance prices are NOT universal to all Wal-Marts. One Wal-mart could have it at $X.xx and the Wal-Mart down the street could have it at half the price. -Stock of an item is not regional; it is store-by-store. Again, one Wal-Mart may stock an item, but the one down the street does not. -Often times if something is on clearance at your store, but not as deep of clearance as, say, OP's price, it has the potential to continue to drop in price if gone un-purchased for some time. Usually it is easier to check a lot of these things with websites like Brickseek, but I don't believe such means work for firearms at Wal-Mart. |

One store had them for clearance at 338$. I was not lured to buy for that amount.don't really need any more guns, let alone an entry level bolt gun. But for 170 I would |

Don't want to bump this so others don't know but all 3 calibers were $338 at all my area stores.
For $170 each I'll max out my CC with a 13k balance. I still kick myself for not ordering 1k rds of Wolf for $75 a few years ago. Tax free profit. |

Mine has some ammo and a couple of rimfires marked down . They are resetting the ammo display , There will be more self defense handgun ammo and .223 per the set up sheet for the employees that was hanging on the glass , They also have some new rifles and more shotguns coming in for stock. From what the manager told me every Walmart will be different based on a decision from Corporate walmart on what they think will sell in the local area .

If you're looking for these deals, check all the stores around you. I went to three local stores today, one had a Ruger American in .308 for 199.00 and the 45-70 for 289.00. The other two stores had the same rifles on clearance but the price was only about 30.00 off regular price.

You guys should definitely ask your walmart drone to scan the clearance tagged rifles. Their prices on the tags are not always very accurate.
The Ruger Americans were labeled at $328 on clearance, but then scanned at $199, and the Marlin .45-70 was labeled clearance at $538 and scanned at $299. I fent too  Now I need to find a piece of budget glass that can give the American what it needs to match its capabilities. |
