Interesting, seems quite a few of us early 2000-ers have relatively low post counts. And some of us like to talk I was here pre-board when ARFcom was only a webpage with a couple articles and a E-Mail discussion list (one for ARs and IIRC one for reloading) |

Howdy
I miss ARMS threads and how LMT M4s were the greatest thing ever made. |

The good old days when Eric The Hun (Bless his Soul) used to post most eloquently and have gatherings at his farm. and all the drama with Arock (FUCK AROCK).
Now we have trolls and 13ers. |

I've been here a day or two. Mainly lurking but occasionally posting. I usually come here first for the news before I check other sources.

That is all ETA fixed it for you pervs... Like me View Quote I started here prior to 9-11, lost my account and had to start a new one. The info that was flowing during 9-11 was incredible, I had more up to date info that any one! I don't post much... just listen and learn |

Late '98 for me; heading on to 18 years. The new board kept having login problems in Nov/Dec 2000. A lot of us could not get logged in until some fixes were made in Jan/2001. Same name on the old board. Found one or two of my posts on the "Old Wayback Machine" at one point.

I first joined in 98 or 99 trying to get info on AR15's prior to Y2K - I thought Colt was the only one who made them at that time. Ended up going with Bushmaster.
I remember the 50-page limit for threads, and when AR15.com hit 100,000 posts. |

I remember lurking for tech info in 99 and 2000 and telling myself that I shouldn't sign up for a membership because there was no way the govt wasn't watching this site.

Meh, have only been active for the past 10 years or so. So I don't feel like it's been a long time.
