Several years ago, I met with some good friends at a Phil Keaggy concert in Ohio and Phil signed both of my Taylor guitars.  He also signed my friend's Koa Larrivee dreadnaught and his wife's Taylor.

That was an incredibly fun night and his show was the best I've ever seen him play.

A few years later he came down here to perform at a place that is no longer here, and I asked him if I could play one of the songs he inspired, and he let me play on his Langejans guitar.  This was in 2006 and I realized how incredible that guitar was within a few seconds of strumming it.  I called Del the following day to find out what Phil's guitar cost, and it was right around $9000.

Fast forward a week and the regional dealer for Del Langejans called me up and invited me to come to their shop in Tennessee as they are invitation only.  I got to play an Olson maple jumbo ($16,000), a 2002 maple/cocobolo Taylor 614ce ($2200), a few Langejans acoustics  ($4000-5000).

I need to start playing again because I'm getting to the point in life that I miss performing for people and finding those magic moments when your guitar starts telling you something awesome without ever saying a single word.

Pretty much anything slide-bluesy, but this is good too.

I always liked Apollo 100's take on Bach.

That's such a hauntingly sad, beautiful piece.

Theme for a Big Green Van-Yesca. One of those grooves that makes your foot heavy on the accelerator.
