I am amazed at the amount of people, mostly younger, who are totally disgusted at the mere mention of drinking tap water.  I could see if you live in Flint MI. why you would avoid it, however most areas are completely safe.

These people get all pissy when I tell them that their bottle water does not in fact come from a mountain stream collected by Buddhist monks.  Maybe they think that fluoride in tap water is a communist conspiracy.

From our fridge door, many times per day.  I change the filter every 3 months.  Tastes fine to me...and nice and cold.

Yeah.

I drink it to stay hydrated, not for taste.

Yes,

Also pro tip, in Baton Rouge their water comes from an aquifer and it's delicious.

Also they need to stop using the aquarist and use water from that damn giant ass river next to them for industry.

I dink several glasses a day straight out of the tap.  Our water here is slightly hard, so I run the risk of contributing to a kidney stone, I guess.  Time will tell.

At Home only- on private well.

State Engineer gave us a free water quality test a few years ago, and the guy said it was "the purest water he'd ever seen"

I'm on a well and I drink it all the time.  It's as good or better than any bottled water.

I will if I have to but it is not my first choice (my house has a filter so I don't consider that "tap" water, I would consider unfiltered city water "tap water). I'm sure tao water now vs 20-40years ago is completely different.

(I grew up with well water and I would drink that shit all day long)

My plumber once told me that Chicago has the cleanest tapwater in the nation.

Living next to a gazzillion-gallon freshwater lake probably helps.

After it's been through the filter in the fridge. I can smell the chlorine in our tapwater.

Goddamn kids.

It's fine.  I don't drink water to sip and enjoy it.  I slug down a glass every so often to stay hydrated.

Fluoride, chlorine, PCBs and all the other poison they put in the water is bullshit, but I'm not weak and it won't kill me.

Yup.  We're on a well.

Through a whole house carbon and then the fridge filter.
It's actually pretty good at that point. I'm actually pretty particular about the taste of water. Hate any off taste.
About all I drink except an occasional adult beverage.

Tap water here tastes fine. When I travel to DC for work I switch to the bottled stuff cause the hotel tap water tastes awful

City Water: Not without going through a filter.

I'm perfectly fine with it.  However most of it comes from my Brita pitcher that I fill with water from my Brita sink filter.

Yep

But seeing as I help treat 55MGD, I know it's good
