Man, that sucks.
Sounds like he walked into something he thought he could handle. I can't say I wouldn't have done the same, even though I know it's not the best thing to do.

For some reason it smells like a set up to me. I hope I'm wrong. Looks like the officer was known for solving some burglaries. He used his work radio to call it in, so I'm guessing he lived in the jurisdiction he worked. Sounds like he probably got some people locked up and their "Boys" set him up there.

Just drove past on my way into work. Cop cars and news vans all along Old McNeil. Probably 100 cars. This is a pretty nice upper middle class neighborhood in Round Rock, so he definitely worked and lived in the community. |
