There is currently 2 call out threads for an active member who is being accused of child rape.
This is dirty laundry that should need to be posted in an open, cached portion of the site. If the pit was restored to its old glory, a thread like that would have a venue. One that wouldn't come up in a Google search. |

Never posted in the pit but it was nice to have the option there-and some of the threads were pretty good to read as a bystander for entertainment value. I personally don't notice the lack too much, but don't see the harm in bringing it back, the way I see it people posted in the pit because their feelings were hurt, so why worry about hurt feelings? Bring it back, add a rule or two and see how it goes.

I voted for the old pit to return, if for no other reason than to give a space where the shit can go down and it won't disseminate throughout other threads. When things start to go hot in a thread, you can tell them to take it to the pit and that should absolutely be the end of the shitting in that particular thread.
