The lag, network problems and high CPU usage have almost rendered the game unplayable for me. Whatever update they did just prior to the new gym bit actually worked well, and now it's back to garbage.

boss battle against a muck

lost the first round but revived my doods and rejoined under my 1st pass
2.5 minutes left

won battle
not enough bag space to catch muck
presented with buy more space option
spent the coins

does not return to catch mode
boss raid is over

no muck for me

Are they doing anything for the 1 year anniversary other than that? No legendary pokemon introduction? No Mew or Mewtwo? No increased chance of catching Tyranitars or some shit? Nothing?

That happened to me and I just transferred some Pokemon and went back and it let me catch the boss.

Did my 1st raid today. Happened by a church that has a 2 person Electrabuzz. Was myself and one other person. We took it down pretty fast. Only had to use one mon. Definitely could have done it solo.

I wouldn't laugh it off entirely. If you've got a free raid pass burning a hole in your pocket and nothing else to use it on, you could end up with a high or perfect IV Magikarp for very little effort.

I ad already used up my pass so could t do it. At this point I'd rather have a shiny. I solo'd a bayleef yesterday and turned out to be a "strong" Pokémon. Not amazing. Such a joke.

Anyone been able to beat a level 3 raid boss by yourself? The level 2s are easy, but on level 3s I always get "time up" and they still have 1/3rd or more HP left.

a 72 percenter 14 12 5 with a cp of 46
and a CP 719 with 2 3 1 or 16 percent

woot

I have caught 941 magikarp, 0 shiny

i think hes referring to the possibility of double xp and double candies. So getting double candies from 10km eggs is MUCH more helpful when find them in the wild is a PITA.

How's that work?

I'm currently in a gym that I can see on my screen but which is a couple blocks away. When I touch on my defender I get the usual "Walk closer to interact with this gym" message. Same with the other mon in the gym.

Go to your pokemon menu and select the ones in gyms.

Do you not get coins if the mon loses all motivation from time instead of battle?

Niantic has remote feeding disabled for the time being. They're working on a problem with that and the coin-award delay, according to their site news.
