The thieves werent targeting the trailer because it had cheese in it.
Most likely they were just thieves of oppurtunity that grabbed an unhooked trailer that just happened to be filled with cheese. The trucking company I worked for had a trailer full of dog food stolen. 42k lbs of dog food. Dumbass driver got routed close to home so he dropped his trailer at walmart and drove his truck to his house. Came back a few hours later and the trailer was gone. A few days later a state patrol happened to be driving past a shithole truck shop and noticed a new looking trailer parked out front which he found odd since the company only ever had junk sitting around before. They had stripped all our decals off the trailer but the full load was still inside. |
