It would appear that the administration is taking credit for an airstrike that managed to kill 250 people who were in a bunch of vehicles traveling on a highway in Iraq. Nobody is really telling us how they managed to identify all of the dead people, how they knew these people were members of ISIS, nor how they came up with the rather arbitrary number of 250. There's no video of the actual air strike or aftermath. Sounds legit to me. |

View Quote A lot of that video looked like MLRS strikes. Four rockets at a time, coming in at a relatively shallow angle (compared to howitzer or mortar fire). |

A series of American airstrikes killed at least 250 fighters driving in a convoy outside Fallujah on Wednesday, a senior U.S. defense official confirmed to Fox News. The strikes occurred on the outskirts of the Iraqi city in "southern Fallujah," a second U.S. defense official told Fox News. "There was a strike on a convoy of ISIS fighters trying to leave a neighborhood on the outskirts of southern Fallujah that we struck," the official said. At least 40 vehicles were destroyed in the airstrikes, a U.S. official told Reuters, which was first to report the air assault. The U.S. airstrikes come roughly 24 hours after the Istanbul airport bombings where ISIS is considered the prime suspect, according to top U.S. officials. View Quote 250, huh? They confirmed this how? Don't get me wrong, I am glad we're doing something, I am just dubious of casualty claims that sound like Vietnam-era field reports. |

View Quote Looks like they lit up a big convoy. I hope the Iraqi SF are some tough dudes. They need to be, to fight these animals. I hope Fallujah is out of ISIS hands, and stays that way. Good news. I hope it's true. |

Maybe if they had 10 guys in each vehicle.
It sure doesn't look like more than 20-30 trucks/cars in those videos. That former CIA guy Malcom Nance seemed skeptical too. "Malcolm Nance ?@MalcolmNance · 2h2 hours ago @IraqiSecurity Haider. One guy said 700 vehicles? Really is that what heard? The other guy said hundreds. What do you think?" |

Some of us remember Vietnam body counts on TV news. Not that Im cynical and distrustful mind you but this stinks of a Politicians hand in this because a soldier wouldnt talk about body counts. |
