Not all that crazy, but the Hubble space telescope mirror wasn't just a manufacturing mistake. It was built correctly if it would have been ordered as a KH-11 or -12 spy satellite, since that is what the maker of the mirror , Perkins Elmer already knew how to do. So engineers still screwed up, but it wasn't a "bad" mirror.

Was one of those things you could kind of chuckle at 10 years ago but now you see politicians doing things in which you can't possibly imagine why it would be good for their people or what their motivation would be. . . it's kind of scary.

The US government, up to it's highest levels, are purposefully engaging in economic sabotage against the American people to create permanent under class that is dependent on the government for everything from food, water, jobs and whatever else from cradle to grave, so that they can constantly expand the size and scope of the federal government and accumulate more power.

We are allowed to vote to make us thing we are free and have a say in our govt. Nobody knows who does the final vote counts. This country's people rely on blind faith and the honesty of the persons appointed by the govt.

And we all know how honest and trustworthy our govt officials are, right?
