It was pretty bad. I mean the 2 guys working behind the counter the first lady bitched out were really cute too. Plus they were doing her a favor by rationing her portions anyway if you ask me. She was probably 250lbs or so.

Pony, I'm not impressed by the milenials either. With respects to people five years younger than I, I met many whiners who have a very strong sense of entitlement. My particular age didn't expect anything handed to us and all we wanted was an opportunity to work and make something of ourselves. I got mine but there are some things I never had. New car. Always had used. Fancy stereo/home entertainment system - but I have the 'net. Finest clothes - but I was never cold or wet.

I work retail.
About 40% of the people that come in are boomers. The rest are middle age/young Boomers are always trying to get stuff at a discounted price and complain about everything in the store. "It's too cold/hot in here" "y'all need to get some different music" "why don't y'all carry this?" "Where is the bathroom?" The younger generations just get what they need and politely leave. |
