Banjos.  Electric guitars.  Drums.
Blues-ish, but more on the rock side of things.

Not some hipster crap, either.

Music I like:
Joe Bonamassa
Avenged Sevenfold

Arfcom has directed me to awesome music in the past- don't let me down.

That sounds like stuff that would play in a decor shop or a Cracker Barrel.

Well OP, anything catch your fancy, yet?

ETA: Just re-read your post and saw you said "blues-ish" not "blueGRASS-ish" , BUT you started with BANJOS?!?

Do you have an example of what you're thinking?

Sturgill Simpson's latest album has kind of a bluesy sound to it.

No banjo, but how about a vintage National Reso?

Or if you like a heavier rock sound...

Hmm you guys are close with the Silent Comedy or the Paul Mcdonald stuff.

The rest of them are either just banjo music (yuk) or just plain rock music.

I thought there was some blues revolution going on or something- basically revolting against the rubbish that is produced by the truck load these days.
Surely there is some of this new blues with some attitude and a banjo line or two.

Check out some of Silent Comedy's other stuff. Their music varies quite a bit but it all pretty much leaves you with the impression that they sold their soul to the devil and may or may not have gotten the long end of the stick on that deal. Listen to the lyrics on Bartholomew.
