I think the Seahawks are going to make it to the Superbowl this season. Wilson came back into his own confidence level last night and he has a lot of talent to go to, plus the defence. Team really looked like they are gelling, loose and determined. Looking forward to another great year ! Yeah, he sure did look good with his first team offense playing against the Cowboys 2nd and 3rd stringers. Heh. I thought it was mostly first stringers playing in the first half, from both teams (that's what the commentators were saying). Well I take that back I guess because the Dallas first string quarterback was out after his 3rd snap, so I guess you are partially correct. |

The Seahawks scored 10 points in the first half against mostly first stringers. The Cowboys pulled their defensive starters at halftime while the Seahawks left their first team offense in. That's when they scored 17 points. If you want to be optimistic about your team, that's great. However, saying their first team offense looked great against another team's defensive backups (back ups on what is supposed to be a bad defense no less) might not be the best reason to cite. |

Kaepernick sits during national anthem

My five minutes of research led me to the discovery he was adopted by two white people.
The 49ers kind of stood behind him saying, "The country that flag represents, affords him the right to stand up for our National Anthem, or not. It's his choice." The 49ers are right, but I feel it also offers the right to fire him at will. |

If anybody has it on demand or something, the 12:30 NFL Network Total Access broadcast was awesome, totally worth the watch. They went in to depth about this Kap BS and all I can say is Heath Evans is the shit. I rewound it and listened to him twice.
He lays down liberty perfectly and pretty articulated, too. Too articulated for the masses in my opinion but I digress. He basically says, "Our society has issues to work out, the United States guarantees you the right to articulate an opinion on it and speak it freely. Any hate aimed at The Flag OR The United States is misguided. We were founded on the liberties Kap is poorly trying to shed light on. The Flag represents those beliefs, and the belief he has a right to speech and protest. But to protest the flag is ass-backwards". Well done, Heath, very well done. |

Then you see zeek running and think the team will be fine. Not a cowboys fan, just football fan. Go colts! I don't know about "fine," but playing in the NFC East certainly helps. I think if they can be not more than a game or two under .500 by the time Romo comes back they'll have a decent shot at winning the division barring any more significant injuries. Of course that was the scenario last year and that didn't work out very well. Maybe Dak, Zeke, and a healthy Dez can be the difference. |

View Quote Given his proclivity to play through series injuries that would sideline the vast majority of other QB's, I think he'll try to play as long as he can. Plus he's one Super Bowl win away from being a guaranteed hall of famer so that might contribute to him trying to play longer than he should. Also it depends on how well Dak does. |

Hey as long as it isn't Tommy boy, it's legal.
Seriously though, sucks for Romo. Not a Cowboys fan by any means, but that guy has been through a lot of warranted criticism, gutsy plays when hurt, getting really hurt and recovering, and doing it all again. Sucks for the dude, but he may have to think about retiring and hanging with the wife. anyhow,, with two more QBs down, what is the possibility of Manziel getting snagged by the Cowgirls or da Bears? Tebow will still be out there when his baseball thing falls flat too. |
