He basically got slapped on the wrist. Marty Weiss developed a reputation for directing comedic, highly visual, award winning national and international commercials using a full range of contemporary camera and special effects techniques. Turns out, he was Corey Haim's abuser decades ago. This is an ongoing thing.

The irony is that it is actually those who most opposes this stupidity that lend it such credibility by reacting to it and spreading it. I'm starting to think that this has been the norm in Hollywood from early on.
The more I research the actors and scandals even in the 1920s, the same dynamic appears, and it was know at the time then too, at least the abuse of younger female actresses. This whole mess has seriously made me want to know who exactly I'm giving money to when cinema entertainment is concerned, not that I'm a big movie-goer anymore. The thought that we've been financing this all these years makes me feel like an accessory to one of the most extreme and perverse sagas of child abuse. There's no way you can tell me that industry veterans don't know. |
